No, I would not. Main reason is the updated (2 years) of IBIS, EVF and most important, focusing both auto and use of focus peaking. The Video is better on the A77II as well.
There would not be that much IQ improvement(ease of use is better on the 77II, etc. as I use a number of manual lenses) for me to give up my A77II for a A99. Most of my lenses are full frame with the exceptions of the 16-50, 17-70 and 35. The cost to switch re lenses is not a lot. Thanks for asking...

Ideally, one would opt for the A99II; but used A99 prices are a bit below new A77II's pricing. I had the same decision, you are contemplating, and decided to go with the A77II. Aside from not getting my money's worth out of my 10-20mm wide zoom, the A77II more than meets my needs. There is a Minolta/Sony internet reviewer, Kurt Munger, who has two websites relating to A and E mount gear who has a comparison chart(?) on your camera choices. That may be of help to you. I am quite happy with my A77II and find it produces superior quality images than my A65, which is a cropped sensor with similar, but inferior, characteristics to the A99. My choice would be the A77II over the A99. If I could afford it, the A99II, used (in full working condition)or new would be my ideal camera. Read Kurt Munger's reviews. Too many photographers drink the kool aid of full frame superiority. There are many benefits to full frame, to some it is worth the extra cost, others get superior results with lower cost cropped sensors. I suppose it is in the eyes of the user, or viewer. Good luck.

Why has not the OP given the name of the Seller of the Nikon? I have seen no indication of a name, other than "not BH".

I am reminded of someone purchasing the item, but telling his spouse that he bought the less expensive camera and received the better model. In retail, all things are possible, but unless he was asked not to disclose the seller(which he should have told us), thisi whole thread seems like a cover up.

So OP, fess up, or tell us the retailer.

I have a LX100, purchased as a carry around camera, in my car or carry on. It is capable of some outstanding renditions of color and DR. I have use dit for real estate pictures as well as portraiture. The LX100,for my hands, needed a grip added and I got a JB bamboo, that and a wrist tether and I am good to go. I shoot with auto ISO with a max of 1600 and use aperture priority or manual most of the time. (RAW, all the time). If you enlarge greater than 5 x 7, the LX100 is the superior one. BTW, the EVF is why I chose this one over others around the same price point.

Wireless, except bluetooth devices, are at 2.4mgh and if too close to your wireless router, may be susceptible to interference. I use, on three devices, three wireless mice, and one wireless keyboard, all logitech. I have heard the most gamers prefer wired keyboards for speed, etc. Good luck. BTW, contact Logitech support. they are very helpful once you get with them.

As a long time Minolta/Sony user, congratulations on your "find"!The 70-210 (hopefully the f/4) is known as the "Beer Can" and depending on when made, ranges from really, really good to excellent in use. The Sigma, assuming it to be an 2.8, depending on when manufactured, may not work(in AF modes) on a new AF Sony, unless you can find the arcane sequence to mount and dismount the lens. In any event, you have a trove of quality equipment. I really like the Sony Alpha A Mount cameras, and recommend the SLT A77ii as a great match to your lenses. I was at a photo club "low light" shoot last evening; it was so nice to not worry about a mono or tripod, shooting stopped down, as the camera has In Body Image Stabilization. One caveat, please use the lens hood with the Minolta glass and not filters, unless they are top of the line. Minolta lenses have great color rendering (opinion) abilities. Have fun!!

I chose the Sigma, after trying both. The Sigma is beefier, but it's AUTOFOCUS worked more quickly and the OS actually made a difference. My cameras are Sony A mounts and have in-camera stabilization, but Sigma recommends turning the in-camera off ( also off on a tripod) The, Tamron, IMHO, is prettier and a bit easier to handle, but i preferred the Sigma. Also, you could look to used, with KEH, Adorama or B&H Photo Seller warranties or Squaretrade and Asurion after-market warranties, preferably drop/spill/. As these are awkward heavy lenses. You could save money and lose a lot of light by buying f/4 versions. Have fun....

I suggest you join PPA; they have daily discussions, plus sample contracts, etc. Additionally, you get INSURANCE on your equipment (some limitations and deductibles) as well as guidance as to avoiding being scammed, collecting fees, how much to charge, what equipment might be best for a specific shoot, etc. Google: Professional Photographers of America and be pleasantly overwhelmed. BTW, I am far from a professional, but the PPA advice has saved me much more than the tax deductible membership fee.

Crop right side tighter. Excellent BW, glasses and shadows from frames make the pix very real and very sharp. I like the shallow DOF. I wish i could so well...still learning.
