Wow this takes me back to my childhood! Reminds me of the cream peas my Mom made. Sadly they were a dish to get by on when meat was scarce. I imagine the dish would have been vastly improved by adding shrimp.
Looks delicious! Did you finish it over direct heat or was it indirect all the way?
Thanks everyone! It was delicious. They also do a pasta making class. You learn to and make your own pasta then eat it with the sauce the Chef prepares. My daughter plans to get a group of her friends together for this as girls night. I tried to convince her to let me come along and photograph it for her, and she reminded me, that I had to give her my phone to get the pictures of the Paella, due to my limited mobility. Dang it foiled again!
Rancho Loma Vineyards, a Texas Winery, has a wine bar in Ft Worth. Yesterday they hosted Paella on the Patio. The Paella was fantastic!

Great looking pup! Hope we get to see her grow.
Jordan Matter has made a career out of shooting in Libraries and other places he doesn't have permission to shoot. I know there have been a couple in a Library. He does get some interesting shots and only gets asked to stop getting on the furniture in this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRxJcJFA9mQ I have seen him kicked out of a few places,
Timmers, I am also glad to see you back. I love that your photos always tell a story, at least in my head they do. You do keep things stirred up and I like that.
Yes, getting old sucks.
Fantastic job!
Thanks for the backstory/explanation of the process.
Once again, what a great shot! I can see how this wonderful woman would inspire your photography .
Those were great! Really enjoyed them.
I've seen nothing lewd in any of your posts. I've found them to be very enjoyable, some of them have been so funny the dog is looking at me strange as I laugh out loud. Keep them coming.
