Mrs. Texas American 2023
The 4th time is the charm. My daughter, AnnMarie, on April 29, 2023 competed in the Mrs. Texas Pageant in Corsicana, Texas. She had competed in 2018, 2019, 2022 also, and in those, she consistently came in in the top 6. This year, AnnMarie’s dream was fulfilled. At the end of the evening, she was crowned Mrs. Texas American 2023.
The competition, with 36 delegates from all over the State of Texas, included the interview, swim suit, evening gown, and on-stage answer to the question. There is NO talent competition in the Mrs. Pageants since the thought process is that for a woman to raise a family involves much talent. Her husband and son (age 6) attended. Grandma and Grandpa (me) stayed back home to babysit her youngest, as the family thought that a 3-year-old sitting through a 3-hour pageant might invite a bit of fuss.
AnnMarie also won the “Contestant’s Choice” award. This was voting by all the delegates for the question: “If you were not to win, WHO would you choose to win?” And, of course, you cannot vote for yourself.
Mrs. Texas American will make appearances during her year at many events across Texas. She will compete for Mrs. America in Las Vegas in August 2023.

7. Hair & makeup. AnnMarie said that pageant make up is typically over the top, as it looks better on stage. Not so much for daily looks.

8. Three winners. This pageant produced Mrs. Texas American & Mrs. Texas. The "strong" pageant held at another time/place is for single women, divorced or widowed.

Congratulations to a beautiful young lady and to you for a good set of photos!
Congrats and well deserved. She's beautiful.
A beautiful girl. A standout among a bevy of beauties. Must come from an excellent gene pool. Congrats to you and the whole family.
p.s.; Hubbie's tie is too short, but I doubt anyone actually noticed he was there.
Beautiful photos and congrats to the winners!
The only thing better than NO tie is a short tie...the shorter the better! Short enough to be invisible is best!
I think you should also receive a trophy as the gene provider.
Congratulations! She is beautiful.
A very pretty young lady - congratulations!
Congratulations to your beautiful daughter, Bobby, and you as her father.
