The second to last is the most dynamic, and my favorite!
I have a SIGMA, or had 2, one a 17-35, which I did not like. Nut now I have to 100-400 zoom and love it!
I just wonder will 70mm give you enough reach. And is it fast enough for inside conditions?

Find a darkroom, and put the photo in the wash for 1/2 hour, then dry MIGHT work. I know, "MIGHT" scares me too.
I have been thinking about using a Q-Tip with some kind of solution to release the fibers might work. But I am sure if what to use.
Mostly, I was wondering if any one knows about any services that are available.
I have been going through some pf my parents things and found this photo of my Mothers' Navy class. This was taken in 1943. I am not sure of the location, but know it was someplace on the East Coast. I can give some more history on the photo, but that is not the reason for the post.
If you look closely you will see, on the right, some white smudges. Those smudges are actually paper fiber. It seems that at some point a moist piece of paper rested on the photo. I was able to lift some of the loose fibers off the image, but started to scrape off the emulsion. Then, I went to the local photo shop, Ball Photo, to see what they could do. Well, it seems that they would take a photo of the photo, like I just did and work on that. I can do that! I want to restore the original. And from the original work on restoring the photo in Photoshop.
Does any one out there have any suggestion as to how to remove the paper fibers?

I am in my not-so-well light studio. I have the ability to put some more light on my subject, but it could create glare. My other option to use a slower shutter speed. Without raising ISO, (Please note, I do not want to raise IOS.) Does a longer shutter speed raise noise?

By a 6D, I assume you mean a used 6dmkl?
If it's cheap enough, maybe. But if you're talking new, go for a used 5Dmkll. They are getting cheap and it's twice the camera the 6mkl will ever be, I don't care WHAT it's lowlight capability is, unless it's the ONLY thing you do.
If your talking about a 6Dll, I recently bought a used 1Dx for less, what would YOU rather shoot?
BTW, get rid of the 70, unless it's the only camera you're going to shoot.
Almost always, it's pointless to have two cameras for the 5% of the time you might need it. Unless you're a pro, and a pro wouldn't even have that camera.
Chef, just my 2 cents!! Good luck!!!

SS, I use the crop frame for outside bird shooting and really like it. So, I ask(with all due respect): what is the problem with the 70D over the 7D? In my studio, such as it is, I like a full frame body. I have heard the 5D ii has some issues, and it is old tech, compared to the 6D.
I am in learning mode here.

Yes, I saw this string. Though, I don’t really know how to use the info.

6D has few bells and whistles, but it is an excellent camera. One thing that you may want to consider before you make that move though is the money you may have to spend on new lenses.
You have a good point, but when I started dabbling around in this addictive game, I made the decision to try and get only EF compatible lenses. And honestly, a lot of those bells and whistles are not so important to me.

Of all the photos here, IMHO the 6th one is the most artistic. While we cannot see any of the fun parts, her pose really brings out her beauty. The others, for the most part are technically really nice, I get the feeling she is posing herself just for "titillation." It worked though!
BTW, I really like the natural look.
And how does one use it?

Well..I asked the OP for one thing. I wanted to hear what he had to say.
I dont' care if he does or not but I wanted to know why he felt like his perfectly good cameras weren't hacking it.
I'll leave all of you to this thread. Have a good day.
Opps I posted this to the wrong Commentor: Indeed it is GAS that is motivating me. However, the specs on the 6D are impressive. The Sensor is a significant upgrade, not only in ISO, but IQ. The mega pixels are almost twice those on the 5D. AND it has WiFi and GPS. Granted I may never use the WiFi, but it is nice to have the option. Also, since I DL directly from my camera, (Bad experience with a CF Card) I have found that the 5D does not play well with The EOS Utility App.

Sir, please read my direct reply to one of your comments. But, to be a little more in-your-face, I like the newer tech offered with 6D. The others bodies work fine, but as I stated in my OP I don’t kneed 3 Camera bodies.
