I agree with you..but unfortunately online shopping is here to stay. No Bus fares/no fuel costs/no parking fees/no jostling in shopping centres/ no travelling time/and often cheaper. We get what we can from our small town shops, and then it's back to Jeff and his competitors online.

I looked out of our kitchen window one-day last week, and in our small cul-de-sac there was a UPS/Fed-ex/ Amazon Prime and an unmarked white van making deliveries. A good proportion of cardboard in our recycling bin is from Amazon. If I ask my wife "What is coming this week" ...A typical answer might be " Just a couple of things from Mr Amazon".
