Hi Rongnongno,
We (wife & I) tried using DigiCam Control (DCC, free software) to control 2 Nikons (DSLR) for our Zoom fly-tying classroom. It has some good features but unfortuneately for us the resulting live streaming to the customer was "herky jerky" especially when using it within the Screen Share function of Zoom. Since this less than good result, we've found OBS Studio (free software) to work much better for our live-streaming classes. We never did use the focus function within the DCC software because all of our camera work is streaming macro live view so we use the manual focus function on camera so we can't comment about the focusing capabilities of the program. Take care & ...

Hi Mike,
I had the operation (one eye at a time & one month a part) a little over a year ago. I got the single lens so I have to use "readers" on the computer, reading a book, etc. The world is sure beautiful now compared to what I lived with for so many years. TIP: Take the proper lens out of your old glasses after the first-eye surgery so you can see better for the month between the two operations. After the second operation be prepared to see a whole new world! Take care & ...

We also got rid of DirecTV and went with all streaming services. We now get our local channels and other live channels with Hulu and use Amazon Prime along with several free services like PlutoTV & IMDB. We saved a bunch of dollars by making the change. Take care & ...

Hi Wasabi,

That must be my problem because I check (and re-checked) the TV source as suggested by others and that was not the problem. I don't have an original Samsung mini-USB to HDMI cable; the only cable that came with my phone(s) was the USB charging cable. Thanks for the suggestion. Take care & ...

Hi group,

I must be missing something when viewing Google & YouTube. I'm trying to connect my smartphone camera (Samsung S7) to my TV or other hdmi device. I purchased a USB to HDMI adapter, plugged in the hdmi cable to the TV and phone - nothing. I looked through the camera settings and didn't find anything that looked like an hdmi on/off switch. So, I got (borrowed) a second USB to HDMI adapter thinking something was wrong with mine but I got the same results - nothing. Any ideas? Your thought would be appreciated. Take care & ...

I ordered an HDMI switcher from Amazon and the next day I got an email telling me it would arrive about 15 Sep 20. I got it 2 days later; total time from order to doorstep was 3 days. It's better to be luck than good!!! Take care & ...

Hi b top gun,
I have the D7100, D7200, and D750. I'd be hard pressed to identify picture differences between any one of the three without looking at the camera's data. Yes, the D750 is a little better in low light but I seldom shoot in those conditions. Take care & ...

Currently I don't have a webcam other than the builtin on my laptop. I've been looking at the Logitech C 920 or C930 but really want the option of manual in addition to autofocus. I think I've found a software solution but will have dig further into it before I know for sure. I'll let everyone know if I find a solution. Thanks for your suggestions. Take care & ...

Hi group,
Maybe I'm not asking Google right but I'd like a webcam with both auto & manual focus. I find many options for one or the other but not for both focus methods. Any suggestions? Take care & ...

Hi Jerry,
I use Windows Explorer on my computer to do all of my Dropbox work (move, copy, delete) then let it's automatic updating process do the job for me. I have the business version of Dropbox and don't know if that makes any difference or not. Take care & ...

Follow Wingpilots suggestion: Take the D7500 and buy a Tamron 18-400. If money is an issue, sell the lens after you get home; the difference in the sales price before and after the trip will be less expensive than renting AND you may also have a new "favorite" lens. The "Tammy" is our favorite lens on our D7200. Take care & ...

Hi Georgette,
I've been using this simple clamp I got from eBay. It has served us well and is not made from plastic (https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cell-Phone-Tripod-Adapter-Holder-Universal-Smartphone-Mount-For-ISO-Android/333171419872?hash=item4d92906ae0:g:PtEAAOSwqghcwnbS). Take care & ...
