I have an old IBM XT in the garage with those drives.
Actually, I never had a computer that used them. I started out with the 3-1/4" drives and currently have an external drive for them.

I miss those 5-1/4" Floppy disk drives they used to put in computers.

I hate to see someone explain how a trick is done. It totally ruins it.
I saw how he did the card where the hole moved across the card. There was a four or five second stop of the video when the hold was supposedly moving. That is when he changed the card.

Daniel Craig (James Bond) was in the local Lowe's a while back, and he went to the self-service register to avoid dealing with a cashier who would recognize him. Unfortunately, the auto register didn't cooperate, so my son went to help him. He must have been relieved when my son didn't recognize him. When he left, the other workers came up to my son and told him who he had just assisted.
That would have been me, I wouldn't have recognized him either. As far as I'm concerned there is only one James Bond and that would be Sean Connery. And truth be told the only Bond movies I ever saw were the Sean Connery films.

I would put a small hole in the bottom of each bucket to break the vacuum. 🤔🤔
I've been known to put a small board (like a 1"x4"xappropriate length) in the bottom of the buckets to keep them separated.

Nice shots besides who doesn’t like a “55”
My first car was a '55 Chevy similar to the one pictured - different color and wheels. However, when I had it it was just another used car.

Thanks, Jerry. I was just about to ask you about the lighting in your TV/computer room and whether you had any shipping issues with Amazon.
I was wondering about that myself. Well, maybe not.

My first year of high school was 1956. The high school I went to was across the street from the Ford dealership. After school we guys would cross the street and check out the new 1957 Fords before they were put on display for the general public. Picture number 5 reminded me of that.

I didn't know if it was "we guys" or "us guys" but based on all the grammar errors I see here and other websites I'm not going to worry about it.

On a Windows machine, entering Alt-248 will enter the degree symbol - °. Is there a quick way to do that on a Mac?

Strange, on my Windows machine entering Alt + 0176 will give you the °.
Maybe not so strange, either Alt will give you the degree symbol as in ° or °.
Another one I find useful is Alt + 0162 for the cent sign, ¢.

Apparently, that's the way the directors want it to be. I've read articles about that. Stupid!
Maybe that's because the directors figure if we can hear the dialogue we will realize how crappy the movie really is.

I watch old silent movies on the local PBS station. No problem hearing what the actors are saying there.

After a little investigating I found her name, Tori Campbell. How could I have forgotten. Actually it was very easy.

I saw this news cast from channel 2 in Oakland, CA years ago. Channel 2 got scammed with this story. They apologized a few days later.

I remember this anchor but don't remember her name. I liked her and was sorry when she left.

I find it funny when I catch myself raising the volume on a foreign language movie.
I turn up the volume on old silent movies I watch that the local PBS station plays.
