THANKS FOR THE GREAT COMMENT. MUCH APPRECIATED. but WHAT is color Luminance??? and how is it applied or removed? Thanks for your help
In post processing, such as in lightroom, you can refine your picture and get rid of grain and color irregularities due to your specific camera's imaging characteristics and ability to handle higher ISO's.
Do you see in the wings and the backs of the ducks there are red/pink colors?...
they don't belong there and are the result of the particular camera/lens that is being used.
Betcha it's cozy inside. An easy chair, tv, and a nice drink...my kind of livin :D Great pics!
Georgia, that's a crop sensor, right? And with a tele conv no less. Simply amazing detail!
I thoroughly enjoyed that shot Randy. I never thought concrete could be that gorgeous.
That's a great image. Everything is nice and sharp. Probably all you have to do in PP is get rid of the color luminance and your done!
I don't think you're for real. I think some multi-billion dollar studio, like Pixar or something, created these....
Seriously, these images are out of this world! Fantastic Regis, you're truly an artist
I've been looking at your shots for the past month, and they are simply amazing! Thank you for you contribution to the community....I just bought that tamron this morning :D
Beautiful! The second is a sunset, right?
I have B&W in my bag for when conditions demand it (surf, wind, rain), but other than that, I shoot with bare naked lenses.
I have this one. I got it for my vortex binoculars, and it works great with my dslr & 70-200mm lens. Has quick disconnect, ball head, twist out legs, weights less than 2 lbs, and is only $129. Probably not for the professional, but works for me on the go.

Take the coin battery out, which is located in the battery compartment with the main battery. My red CF light on the rear of my 7d would continually flash, which was fixed by removing the coin battery for 10 min.
Great shots!
Usually when you're hurried to "go get the camera", you miss a lot of shots, but looks like you nailed it.
