I took this shot because I was attracted by the light from the broken sky, reflecting on the wet surfaces of slate and brick, my original "foreground." I did not see the leaves until I started processing.
My question is, do they enhance the image?
I think it’s a nice photo. The leaves are not an issue. If it were mine I might try removing the branch in the upper right corner and the protruding limb on the left frame to see if it improved anything, but other than that…. Nice job.
