Nice photo. Try googling Mt Washington directions. It's a great park. They claim to have records the highest recorded winds on the planet.
I just saw and had to reply.
Mount Washington New Hampshire, that is. Not Mount Washington, Pittsburgh, PA.
Mt Washington, NH is 6288 feet up there and you can drive. Awesome! for take a train which can climb a 30 degree slope on a track. Awesome!.
Great place to visit. And yes there is a 30 degree difference from the base to the summit at times and there are over 100 mph winds up there regularly.

Amazing Shot Cypermomm. We had clouds outside of Pittsburgh and so we saw it but didn't. Parts of it would pop through but just for a second or two.

Greetings. Welcome to UHH. I'm a transplant to Indiana County, the home of Jimmy Stewart. Orginally from Portland, Maine.

Alissaspieces, that's a great shot. Congrats.
Great shots.
Shooting the captain I would love to do. I'll leave the climbing for someone else.

What a nice treasure and you did a great job.

KC 135's and B-52 are beautiful birds to see take off. I love the U2 taking off and also the SR-71 doing fly bys and then kicking in it's afterburners. Awesome sight.
Being an old Ground Radio Tech in the Air Force, and one who loves airplanes, it would be great to live in that area. I know the Doolittle's Men were there in Nov and I wanted to go sooooo badly. But live moves on.
A great story
Great job.
I loved your final project.

I had the privilege of getting to his Orange New Jersey Research and Developmental Lab and then visited his house. Edison still inspires people and was quite a man. The R & D still displays a time card which Edison had over 100 hours in a week. He had a cot in his office to sleep a few hours in the middle of the night. An amazing man. We can still learn from him.

I love it. Been there but I don't remember that one. That Air Force Museum is amazing place to visit. I have to get back there when I can spend more than a day there. Maybe a week will do.
Randy
Thanks for passing that one.
The SR-71 is a super plane. An amazing plane.
I happened to be able to get a shot of one years ago. One day I will restore this negative.
