I think most of us know how you feel one way or another.
I lost all of my archived photos when my external hard drive failed and my backup also failed. It had several years of highly valued (to me and others) shots of community music events. I paid a company to recover them and I got back about 80% of them, but they no longer had the file names I had given them and they were not organized. I was able to look at the exif data and get the dates they were taken and recover them manually that way.
I am so glad you found yours!
This looks like fun. You will be able to use your camera as a webcam or video source.
Anyhow in these days of isolation why not give it a go? LOL

Only Windows 10 and a few models are compatible as of this article.
I use Irfanview to preview and cull my shots. My Canon 80D produces CR2 files so I have had to install the plugin that Linda From Maine so rightly points to.
My comment relates more to how awesome Irfanview really is. I haven't researched it, but how in the world is there a business model that supports such a great product when the price is ZERO? It's lightning fast. It renders excellent images. It allows me to delete unwanted shots on the spot. Good grief Batman!
Heck I haven't even plunged into Irfanview in any depth at all but I am blown away.
I am struggling with my budget. I may know more by the end of the day.
Just a teaser.

Thanks. I got confused but I think I am ok now.
Is your lens still for sale? Where are you located? I am in Mars Hill, NC.
Your price is at the top of my budget.
I'm pretty sure I am just not able to read the darned thing right.
I cannot figure out how the Members Buy/Sell/Trade -- Classifieds forum section is sorted.
I would like to sort it in reverse chronological order according to the date the item was published.
Is that possible?
Tight budget, so I join the hordes looking for a decent deal on a decent lens.
I am an amateur photographer and I mostly shoot in low light musical events with messy backgrounds and moving subjects. I definitely need image stabilization so the Canon lens is out for me. I use a Canon 80D DSLR.
I have been told by my retired professional photographer friend that this is the lens I need.
Any assistance in this effort would be graciously appreciated.
EDIT: I should also add that weight is an issue. I am 72 with severe arthritis. I do 80% handheld with the other 20% on a monopod.
When I started playing guitar, I had a very inexpensive, but good sounding guitar. It's the reason I still play guitar 50 years later. I didn't know it was a lousy guitar and it didn't matter. It sounded great.
Start her with an inexpensive camera that can yield decent results. If she has the passion required, she will have a lifelong relationship with photography IMHO.
I am truly a rank amateur photographer, but I take a lot of photos, nearly all hand-held. As I get more and more experience using PP, I also find that it helps me to become a better photographer. The process of making one of my photos better also allows me to recognize the flaws in it that I can try to improve upon on my next outing.
So, for me, post-processing is both a useful tool and a learning tool.
I have been using Affinity Photo since its introduction for Windows. Love their pricing model!
I have found AP to be more intuitive than Adobe Elements and GIMP. And, it handles RAW photos from my Canon 80D quite well. Also, like the others here, I have found the videos to be excellent. I have purchased the workbook, and it looks great, but I have not taken the time to work with it as yet.
One major issue I have with AP is that, once you Develop the image, you cannot go back to RAW and work where you left off; you lose the RAW history. I hope they plan to change that!
