I know I'm going from crop sensor to full frame and the lens are different and more expensive. I'l had the 7200 for what seems like a hundred years. But along the way I've acquired a couple of full frame lens.
Before I pull the trigger I'm wondering is the 850 is fast enough for birds in flight? I understand that it isn't the best for very fast photos but nothing is said about birds in flight. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this?
I think it was mentioned in one of the responses but you can have the highest FPS but if you want if you don't have a card that Is fast enough it will run out or slowed island before the buffer is full. I use AD 500 and get the 440 read write XQD cards and can utilize the 200 frame buffer if needed. But if I forget to switch it over and leave it on my SD cards that are about 90/95 read/ right I might get 25 shots before the SD card slows down and can't accept the frame rate speed, and Although they do make faster SD cards now I think

Ohhh...you want people to actually read and comprehend the question first. That’s a lot of work for a bunch of hedge hogs.
You're right on all 3 counts lol

It's helpful if the OP would tell us how bright the gym was. He was there with the light meter built in to the camera.
If It is that important to YOU then ASK the OP, DONT make a blanket statement to the GROUP.

They may not have buyers remorse, but they surly have worse image quality than the could have had with a few more dollars for a decent lens.
What would you suggest as a better llrns for a few bucks more, As even the f56 nikon is 3500 bucks for a prime 500, if you want f4 You're looking at almost 13 grand.
I use my 150 to 600 on my Nokon and purchased a relatively inexpensive pistol grip which helps in handheld. If you were going to use it a lot you might think about a Mono pod or tripod with a gimbal head and/or ball head, But that takes a bit getting used to to track the birds.
Welcome Dorothy enjoy your photography and experiences. There are many here who can help you and suggest books quick references tutorials and U tubes.
I want to thank all of you for your replies and information
I am looking for an ND and or polarizing filter for my 18-300 Nikon Lens which has a 77MM ring, I noticed the price from say the Tiffen at about 30 bucks to the B&W at about 100 and the Nikon at about 140. I would imagine the differences are more than I think but will assume it is related to both the build and quality of Glass and or plastic whichever the filter is made with. My question is to those with experience using such filters and the effect on the final capture good or bad.
PS Please leave your attitude and snarky remarks where they belong and try not to play captain Obvious.
I want to thank those kind souls for answering my questinons.
I own a Nikon D5oo and understand that you can use a battery other than the EN-EL 15a that comes with it with a longer life, I think its the 18? or something, does anyone know what Battery it is.
Ask her what she wants if you think it's too much photoshop her out
