ok, back again in response to all the photos. I agree with Didereaux with all of them, except that I also like number 10.
I also disagree with MissStephie about straightening the hoirizon on number 5, because the base of the tree is straight and would look atilt if you straightened the horizon.
Outside the Canon Office Building the crocus has sprung in full living color just waiting to be models for the camera. They were so beautiful.
On my recent visit to Washington D.C. this was a day off for me in the city from the packing I was helping my friend do in preparation for her upcoming move. When I start to photograph something, I am a bit obsessive in doing so, just as in everything in my life.
You need not take this to heart, as I just came back and don't think you have anything of mine to look at yet for my quality of work, but I am responding because it seemed like you wanted feedback, and I know I always like people to comment on my works. #1 displays well with the church being lit through the tree by the sun, although it would be nicer if the tree were not as thick with branches (we cannot control mother nature), #3 is fabulous in composition and coloration, and #5 has a beautiful strata of colors from the sunset in the sky as it does in the field; a marvelous piece. #2 has nice color and the composition is ok and I like it, but I can't say there is any one thing that stands out about it, and #5 should be a good picture, but I think it is simply too dark.
Absolutely gorgeous representation of the color "green" and that of a supermarket as well.
This is an absolutely stunning "green" photo.
Yes, both. I like to give myself as much advantage as possible. As in the first picture, I loved the image but didn't know how to get a replica of what I saw, until I thought about lying down.
Living in Dallas, it was a wonderful vacation to be in Big Bend National Park with no cell phone service and no computer connection.

You're right, these are amazing. I absolutely love the spider's web.
Ok, if you can stand one more critique, I always start with the positive; I absolutely love the way the lane through the trees draws you into the picture down the lane (great depth-of-field). I personally enjoy the framing, and the only thing I would change is the contrast of the colors so that the greens would be a little brighter, and the browns a bit darker. I also like the depth-of-field used on the coursage to give the blur effect, however I really do not like that it is in the center of the photo; I would have it off to the right, with maybe even an eight of it cut off the edge. Just my opinion, of course. And I have to be honest and say that although I love taking very odd photos myself, I don't find much to appreciate in the first photo other than the color contrast which is lovely.
I absolutely love this lovely ladies expression; nicely captured.
I absolutely love the eyes of the fruitfly, and me being arachnophobic find the spider absolutely alive in this shot.
Oh, that would not be the reason at all, my friend. I have lived here now for 19 years, and still do not like TX. I am from MN, love the cold, love mountains, change of seasons, hate the heat, am only here because my husbands job brought us here, and now it just happens to be home after all these years, and changing about nine to twelve different doctors just doesn't sound like fun at all.
