My personal preference is B&W filters, which are all I use. Best of luck.

I've used both WHCC (White House Custom Color) as well as Blazing Editions (in RI) and have been happy with both. I see lots of folks who like Bay Photo. Best of luck.

@Burk Photo has this correct.
Display calibration is generally a very good thing, but APPLE always does things a bit differently, especially with the new Studio DISPLAYS.
Generally speaking, if you pay attention to the environment in which you edit, trudgen's neutral walls (like the Munsell Grays -usually N8) and block large changes in room illumination from windows , I generally leave ambient light control Off
A controlled editing environment is one of the best small investments you can make to achieve consistent results.

@Burk Photo has this correct. br Display calibrati... (show quote)

I normally agree with Mr. Burke as well, but, in this case I want to add my personal opinion as I own an Apple Studio and use the Studio Display as my main monitor. I calibrated my monitor out of the box, and about every two months thereafter, along with my second monitor, a LG 27" 5K I've owned since my iMax Pro. I saw only a small change in the new monitor, but, as we all know, monitors change over time. My workflow is truly color matched, whic I check with the occasional test print using an image I downloaded from the Red River Paper site. I use an Epson P800 and Red River paper. I'm one happy camper along with being on who recommended the xRite/Calibrate device to AT. I also control the room lighting along with the window lighting using a semi-translucent shade. I have not noticed much difference, in my situation, with the setting the OP is questioning,
leaving it off. YMMV! Best of luck.

Exactly which device did you use to calibrate your display, please send the link.

The exact one I use is no longer available. I suggest you purchase an Calibrite Color Checker Display or Display Pro, which is the latest version of what used to be Xrite. Check out B&H and perhaps wait for a sale on the Pro. I prefer that to the Datacolor Spyder due to MUCH better technical support. Given you have a Studio display, I'd go for the better one. Best of luck. (If you want to chat on the phone, PM me)

You are free to do as you wish. I calibrated my Apple Studio display before I made my first print using my Xrite device. There were noticeable changes. I continue to calibrate regularly and wouldn't consider not doing so. I can take a test image from the Red River site and produce it exactly using my setup. I also use a calibrated light in viewing my prints and checking fol color. Nuts? Keeps me happy. Best of luck.

You can't go wrong with Red River paper. My first choice for over ten years! Great, and useful site. Order a sample pack and print one of you favorite photos on each, using the proper icc profile for each paper and your printer. Of course, you need to calibrate your monitor using either a Calibrate or Xrite device before you'll get your best/consistent prints. Best of luck.

In the 'Custom Settings Menu' select - Shooting Display - select a1 'Continuous shooting Speed'. Here you can set the 'Continous High-speed' frame rate to either, 10, 12, 15 or 20fps. Once you have set this to 20, you will also see that in the 'i' menu under Release Mode for H

a2 is used to set the maximum shots per burst. E.g. if you want a bracket of 5 different exposures set this to 5.

A1 works as you mentioned. Please be aware the a1 sets the fps for everything, not just bracketing! This is why I have this available in My Menu. To control your bracketing work, use the BKT button on the top (left) of the camera. Best of luck.

Never owned a Z7ii, but the Z8/Z9 should work in a similar manner.

FYI. Color calibration when printing involves more than the monitor. Check the Red River Paper site for loads more valuable information. I use RRP for all my paper needs and find their printing profiles to be very accurate. Download one or more of their printer test images to see how your color calibrated workflow is doing. Best of luck.
