Is there a method or program that will show the active focus points in LR when the shot was taken?

I can find them with DL pics in Firefox and Safari but I would like to do them in LR as is possible Aperture?

Is there a way to display Exif data on a downloaded picture ? Thanks. Kevin

ExifWizard in the App Store gives basic info but I find the Apps in OS X to be more informative.

I started with iPhoto, then migrated to Aperture soon after it came out, now up to Aperture 3.6 on Mac OS 10.10.1. I publish to flickr. I also use PSE9 for things that Aperture can't do, like adding text. Aperture and iPhoto are being replaced this spring by Photos for OS X . Has anyone tried it yet?

Saw an article that said PHOTOS would be released today with OS X 10.10.3

Maybe because we all got treated like a piece of sXXt when we got home. How many vets from other wars got spat on? Yeah, after 47 years I'm still bitter about how I was treated by my own people when I came home. But at least I came home alive, 58,000+ of us did not.

Thanks Bill...I had all my other settings where I wanted them...but I'll have to add them all back a few at time to discover which one gave me the problem.

Good luck

Hey guys, because of copyright I can't post the picture of the above plane I found but you all may find this website of interest.

You have to have admiration for the craftsmen and organizations that find, finance and restore these old aircraft.

Thanks for that link. It is amazing what is on the web.

Anyone know what the little red prop looking thing is on the top right?

Today they might call it a RAT - Ram Air Turbine. It uses the air moving across the wing to turn a generator for electricity or to power a hydraulic system, though I doubt if the PIONEER had hydraulics. In modern times they normally would be for emergency use, the PIONEER probably used it as a primary system.

De Havilland Dragon Rapide short-haul airliner, built in 1935. That is an English Electric Lightning in the back, probably the P.1 prototype.

I always find English aircraft design intriguing; usually unique but always functional. Spits, Hurricanes, Lancaster always get a lot of press but my personal favorite was the Mosquito. Believe all were powered by RR Merlins?

Interesting perspective on the "Pioneer"? Any idea of what type of aircraft this is?

Looks like an English Lightning in the background.

Interesting shot.

You Will Not Believe How These Russians Get This CAR Out Of A Frozen Lake...

Canadians would have used 2 backhoes, 2 excavators, a bulldozer, a forklift and 10 snowmobiles--not to mention a case of beer and 10 pounds of hotdogs and hamburgers.

Americans would have used 2 Blackhawk Helos, Seal Team 1, 2 Ranger platoons, a Sniper or two, half a dozen up-armored Humvees and an M1A1 Abrams in addition to the beer, hotdogs and hamburgers.

Leave it to the Russians!

Has anyone else had a problem of slow wakeup when they go to focus on a BIF with their Canon 7D MkII? I've noticed it lately...and I'm wondering if I caused it with an erroneous setting!

I don't have the 7DII but I'd bet that it is fairly simple to reset the camera to factory defaults. My D7000 just requires pressing two buttons simultaneously.

Bill

FYI - I dl a manual on the European Canon Site. I think page 445 my help you reset to the factory defaults if you choose.

Thanks for the info, Bill
