The pics are not the best but i thought this was pretty cool just the same. if i set them up right in the first picture look at the Duck in the upper left corner he has a dragon fly hitching a ride on his head, then another Duck sees the Fly and wants it for lunch.

I love it! What a great capture. Did you use a burst to get them or just a quick trigger finger?

Did the hungry duck prevail or did the dragon fly escape?

A quick finger and a bit of luck. The Dragon fly lived on for another day.

On my way home I was wondering how to get closer pics and not spend a ton of money and out of the blue popped up a camera store. I tried to keep the car on the road but the camera devil jumped off my shoulder took over the wheel and turned my car into their parking lot. The devil then forced me into the store and made me buy a 2X teleconverter the store wanted a $170.00 for a new one but I bought a used one for $60.00!! The devil on my shoulder was happy..........the devil at home wasn't!!

Question........How often does this happen to photo addicts and is there a twelve step cure for it?

It was not that large, although that one would be nice. i could mount it in the back of my 4x4 pickup truck and just drive in the woods all mounted ready to go.

I just received the following link in an email from a cousin of mine, and thought it very worthwhile to share with all UHH'rs

Our history we must keep and there is no better way than our photographs.

These pics. were taken from color slides found at the Library of Congress. They are dated between 1939-1943.

The pictures are so clear and the color is so vibrant, it looks as though they were taken just yesterday.

And I would suggest a separate section each for landscapes, moon shots, flowers, bees, grandchildren, dogs, cats, horses, bears, pictures that need to be cropped, pictures that need to be color corrected, pictures by people under 50, pictures by people over 50, etc. Come on, folks. Is your time so valuable that you can't open a thread and move on because you aren't interested. I do it all the time.
