In the beginning, UPS only delivered in 39 states, the USPS everywhere. Recently the 3 organizations work together because of space available on planes and trucks. PO is making money these days with parcel delivery.
In the old days, going back before say, 1995, "junk mail", known as "business advertising", paid off. One in 7 people bought something from the weekly ads.
So when magazines and newspapers were no longer being delivered by PO, advertising fell and no one sent first class mail due to unreasonable cost.
When doctors, lawyers and financial documents had to be mailed, the system was always loaded. Then they declared that faxing a signed doc was acceptable, things changed.
Shipping charges had escalated in past 15 years. They have a tracking system in place. You can go on the internet and find out where you package is this morning.
NO ONE IN THE USPS gets fired, unless they do something really stupid.

When congress goes on recess he will invoke executive orders.
He will insert some more sycophants to new czars, etc.

She lost her "fifth" rights by speaking up. She can be held in contempt, by walking out. Either she went against lawyers advice or she has bad lawyers. Now she'll have to "face the music." Now she'll need the "Beams"

Do you notice how many empty seats there are sporting events?
Ever take any pix at events you attended?
I used to love to listen to the National Anthem at the baseball games. Then in 1984, I believe it was in St Louis,
a male "singer" did a popular song version and others have done so ever since.
Just read an article about the worst graduation record at
11 public colleges. What has happened at the HS level?

When the country allows people who are educated in other countries to come here and work for tech companies, do they
have to pay SSI & medicare taxes? They are not here on a
permanent basis? I understand that Bill Gates states we should have about 180K coming here cause of the shortage of our citizens with needed education.

Jodi Arias last week wanted the death penalty. Now she wants life in prison. She should be in a confined cell with no windows and listen to Justin Beiber, during all her awake hours, over and over.
Here the same song 27 X per hour.
