Why go out and buy anything but a "point and shoot" camera? They can shoot great pix. Spend the money on the kids or grand kids. Why have a lens longer than your NOSE?

Thank you all for your notes. Enjoyed the variety. I found that not all cameras have "the feel" in the hands. Tried several and found one that feels right for me.
