Macs have always been the leader in photographic and video programs. Before you go out and buy any programs , you may wish to try the FREE iPhoto and iMovie. They're very versatile and easy to use. No, it isn't photoshop but it covers 95% of what you need. Fool around with it, after all , what did we do with our photos before photoshop came along. To me, photoshop always seemed to me to be for the photographer who wanted to make their photo something it really wasn't. I've been taking images for 45 years. I've looked at my photos from many years ago and they still look great. There's nothing wrong with Photo shop, but why not make your shot the best it can be, take your time when shooting, be more creative, I think you'll be happier
Now for the flak to come in, I can feel it already.
The D90 was discontinued last year. All the sites still sell them ( body Only $899 TO $999.) as if they were a recent, A still made camera.
If the price is $500-$699, its usually gray market with a 1 year warranty (not Nikon U.S.A.).
Nikon for a refurbished w /90 day warranty wants $899.
So is it advisable to wait for the price to be more reasonable OR has anyone bought a gray market, any complaints, where would you get software updates.
Anything else you can tell me would be great.
