Hi Cheinek, So sorry to hear about your health issues and glad to hear your situation is improving. Your package is great for someone who has nothing, but for those of us who are established, and many with as kits as complete as yours, it doesn't make sense to purchase another complete kit. I understand why you would want to sell that way for convenience sake and hope you are able to do so. Nevertheless, you should be able to sell your photo gear separately on this site with no problem as you have made some excellent choices, and much of what you have would be in great demand here. Given this, let me be the first to request, if you chose to break up your kit, I would be interested in purchasing the 6D body with batteries and charger, and possibly that marvelous 150-600. Please let me know. I'm not in any rush and I do hope that you will be able to sell the complete kit as you wish to. Wishing continued improvement with your health.

Best,
Bob

Thank you for posting. This is a very informative and well reasoned article. I do shoot RAW always. I believe I will shoot to capture both at my next event to test this theory for myself. If I can use the JPGs as processed by the camera, I will shave a lot of time from my pp.

Your original stands on it's own. It is a beautiful evocative shot and the graduation from the slightly overexposed bottom to the deep indigo at the top is very nice. I especially like the way the Milky Way appears with that tiny bit of contrast in the lighter areas of the sky. If anything, maybe bring the overall exposure down a smudge just to deepen the blacks at the top. This will result in darkening the lighter areas as well without upsetting balance in your original.

This price is too good to pass up. I will purchase the body, two batteries and remote for $425. Do you accept PayPal?

Is this lens still available? If so are there any scratches, chops, mold or internal dust?

We saw it at a local art theater. The Landmark in La Jolla. Check your local movie listings.

Just saw this movie last night. If you are a lover of photography, and who on this site is not, you must see this. Probably one of the best street photographers who's work you have never seen, documented brilliantly.

Rigid frame. doesn't that make it a dirigible rather than a blimp?

I have been shooting events for the last four years and I have tried many methods for associating names with photos. I would advise against a voice recorder as the process of transcribing is tedious and deciphering the names and spellings is nearly impossible. I strongly suggest that you ask the event coordinator for a copy of the attendee/participant database. With this in hand you can edit it so that you may fill open cells with photo numbers. Ask the coordinator for a volunteer to follow you, even better, someone who knows which celebrities they especially want photographed and with which VIP's. Have them lead you around to help set up the shots. They should carry a reporter's pad to record the names of those pictured, from left to right with the image numbers as you shoot. When you get back to your computer, edit your photos keeping only those that best represent your work and the needs of your client. Do your PP and finally, open the database file I mentioned above, delete all of the information other than the first and last names, and head the cells to the right photo 1, photo 2, etc. With your photo window open, along with the reporter's pad, simply place the photo number associated with each image next to the names of those in that image. When you present your final images, or proofs to your client, give them the database you have created and the reporter's notebook. The database will give them a tool that they can search by name or photo number making their job so much easier than any other method I have found. Caution: If your images are up to par, they will ask you back. I hope this helps. Good luck with your shoot.

I was the guy 2 seats down. I suggested to that guy that he check out UHH for a great group of knowledgeable photographers who would answer his questions And the man in front of me said he read the UHH blog. Was that you? You look familiar.

If that's you pointing your finger above my empty seat, I would have to say yes, that was me. I thought it would be more advanced as well but was impressed with his delivery and the way he dealt with both simple and complex information. I had a great time and learned some things that will simplify my shooting and processing. I am one of those that he mentioned who has a tendency to overthink.

Out of curiosity, how many UUHers attended Scott Kelby's live training yesterday in San Diego. I did and was most impressed.

Great work, especially considering the motion of the ocean from frame to frame.
