Just saw this movie last night. If you are a lover of photography, and who on this site is not, you must see this. Probably one of the best street photographers who's work you have never seen, documented brilliantly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2o2nBhQ67ZcThanks for calling to our attention. The YouTube in your link shows that she was a brilliant street photographer. I looked her up in Netflix, and they have the DVD on the "save" list, meaning that it not currently available, but they plan to add to their available selections in the future. Where can one see the film now?
We saw it at a local art theater. The Landmark in La Jolla. Check your local movie listings.

Apparently only shown in mostly art theaters. I checked; not shown any near my place. I will wait until it becomes available from Netflix. Thanks.
Her official website has a number of good pictures, but I'd love to se the film.

I saw the movie in Highland Park, Illinois, where she lived. An interesting juxtaposition. The movie is excellent and deals with Vivian as a person as well as a photographer. It is mainly insightful interviews with people who knew her. We probably will never learn anymore about the outstanding photographer.
A very haunting story with a very sad ending. I recommend it highly.
