I would go to ebay. You have them to back your deal up.
Here there are no guarantees.
You can use paypal.
I bought used Sekonic, I think I paid 50 or 60 dollars for it.
It works great
I used it a couple of times and put it in my drawer.
It's been there ever since.
The AV mode on my camera does the excat same thing.
If I am in Manual, when I spin the wheel to the middle of my exposer bar. It's spot on.
I thought I would ue the meter more than I really do.
A MIOPS does the same thing as a Pluto.
I have bought a MIOPS. It is worth the money.
There is a light, sound, laser, mode, and a couple others.
They also have a water drop. Splash Unit that is a kick in the butt
MIOPS has a app for a cell phone or tablet, that you can control the units with.
Basically, you can use your phone as a wireless remote.
Chech out thier website
I like the veggie. It came out cool. You just gave me some ideas. Thanks.
If you can't hold a camera and a lens, hit the gym. Muscle up. Buy a tripod, or you could always take up knitting.
My Canon 1D Mark III, can shoot 10 Raw frames a second.
It's the reason I bought and use it.
I do a lot of splash photography.
Water drops. Popping water balloons. Dropping stuff into a 10 gallon tank.
I bought a Miops unit to capture lighting.
Last spring I was at the Denver Pow Wow, and I know I would have missed some great shots with a slower camera
So yeah for me, fast is good
There are times I wish it was faster.
Neither, they are both seriously over saturated.
And it looks like you over dosed on the noise reduction.
Its kind of a rookie mistake, I did the very same things at first.
Unless you are going for some kind of special effects,
The more natural you can make your shot look, the better it will be.
Yeah, mostly natural light. My bathroom has great light.
I have a hand held shower head, so it was easy to fill [and dump] the 10 gallon tank.
I have a couple light stands, with 60 watt led bulbs. I pointed those straight up to reflect off the ceiling.
But honestly they didn't do much.
Thanks for the reply and the interest.
Here a tip. I focused on where I was going to drip the fruit.
Then I turned on my wirless shutter realease.
I hit the release button started taking pictures as soon as I dropped the apple.
That way I could be away from the camera.
And I knew that I could hit the shot I wanted, by taking 10 shots instead of just one and hoping I got it.
Tough crowd.
I guess you have to post a picture of a bird or a flower to get a reply.
daylight makes life easier
the 45 degree fitting is a great idea.
These are my first attempts at this.
yep it's water. I used food coloring.
Lighting is tough. I bought some cheap [$60.00] light stands with soft boxes.
2 straight stands, 1 boom and 60 watt 5200k led bulbs, that look like bulbs. Not the curly ones. I am going to go and get 100 watt bulbs.
I found them on Amazon. Really easy to put together.
They buffer the light so I don't get the reflections, that were driving me nuts.
