Might some NE1 (any one) on this website -Ugly Hegdehog- have a Tamron 15-30mm lens they no longer use and would like to sell....

I have several some very good views about this lens and have even rented it for the day. So now it's time to take the step to purchase this lens.

I am hoping that some one on this site has one for sale....I thought I would try UHH before going to else where to purchase this lens....

Tks in Advance.....

I would go to ebay. You have them to back your deal up.
Here there are no guarantees.
You can use paypal.

You didn't say for which mount, but based on your previous posts- here's one for Nikon on the Fred Miranda site:

Well did you ever notice when shopping in person or online that prices, model numbers, pictures and a description are used?

Since this lens has only been on the market a couple of months, you likely will have a lot of trouble finding a copy of it used. I suggest looking for the first generation of it, you will have more luck, or you could get it new for only $1099 with 6 year warranty.

Looks like an interesting range.

As his post says, its the "First Version", and not the G2.
Its actually a wonderful lens, I have one and have shot it as low as 1/6sec hand held while doing interior architectural work with fantastic results. Some minor corner distortion can be seen but its easily corrected in PP. The VC on this lens is great. I have the G2 in my rental inventory and its got the same image quality as the first version but faster focusing and better stabilization due to using seperate in-lens processing chips for the two functions. This ONE of only a few Tamron lenses that definitely out-performs similar products from Nikon OR Canon, and at a MUCH better price. Well worth owning one of these if you do any indoor architectural work with full frame cameras.

Are you looking for the first version of this lens, or the second version, which is the G2 model as in your topic heading? In your post you just refer to it as the 15-30mm.

If you want the first version, here is a link for KEH Camera for 2 used first version lenses. They did not have any of the second G2 models available. Neither did MPB Camera.

The link below is for the first version of the lens as well... this one is listed at Adorama Camera.

The link below is at B&H Camera. They have 2 of the first version lenses as well.

I doubt you will find anyone selling a new version of this lens, as it just came out a few months ago. Maybe you might get lucky and happen to find someone who is dumping their gear for some unexpected reason, which sometimes does happen due to illness or other circumstances.
