Every now and then I take a non bird photo and am allowed to share it in the Main Photo Gallery. This critter was very cagy. I had to honker down in full cammo and wait for it to come out of hiding. Once I got a focus lock on it I only had a split second before it returned to hiding in the seclusion of the rockpile.
As usual, very nice. I didn't know about your problems, but I am glad you overcame them. It certainly hasn't affected your ability to get great captures.
Thanks Eugene I was set up for a nice shot on and was waiting for a bird to land where I was hoping for. This titmouse was about 25 yards away and seemed to be be watching me waiting for him. I started moving toward the titmouse. Mover rig - take a shot - move rig- take a shot..... each time a little closer and a looking for a better background. Eventually I got to this spot, took a couple shots ,,,, then the titmouse flew to the perch I had started wanting it to land on. Bird photography would be frustrating if it wasn't so much fun
