My Nikon d7100 permits various adjustments to white balance. I understand the need and desire to adjust indoors based upon types and sources of lighting. My question is whether I should use the auto white balance option outdoors or change the setting based upon the type of lighting- direct sun, shade, overcast, etc. I have tried a few test cases and didn't see a noticeable difference.

I appreciate your opinions and advice!

I am in the same boat financially speaking. In my film camera days with Canon I had a macro lens. I now own a,Nikon d7100 and would like to do some close up work. Is it naive to consider extension tubes? One issue is portability. Or am I off base? Perhaps there are no adaptors for your lens though.

Looks like a new career to me. Congrats and well done! The change in copyright size helps.

For am upcoming trip, I an considering the purchase of a wireless remote shutter release ( ML-L3) as well as the WiFi adaptor (WU-1A).. Most of the reviews are OK although there are some complaints about the WIFI. My camera is the d7100.

I'm interested in UHH member experiences and suggestions. Enjoy your day!

I can not recommend this company highly enough for buying used cameras and lenses. Great customer service and the products are top notch.
If they don't list what you're looking for write to them and ask, they may have it.

Thank you! I just visited their website and created an account.
