I used to own the Nikon cool pix P510. It was a great camera but after four years I sold it and upgraded to the D5300.
Thanks for the info. Now I need to get out there are practice with those Reflectors!
I am thinking of Luminar. No monthly fee, and I will try the free demo version. If that doesn't work, looks like I have plenty of others to choose from. Thanks all!
I can't believe there are so many programs out there!!! I have another question: what is plug-ins?
I've done some research on Luminar, but will check out a few others. I had no idea there were so many programs out there. As long as I can practice with RAW, have some fun editing, and organize my pictures in Photos on my Mac, I will be good to go. I appreciate all this advice.
This is a great starting point. I don't really want to subscribe. Good to know there are other options out there. I will have to research this.
Thank you for your advice.
The D3400 is a nice camera, takes great photos, and I got a good deal on Black Friday. My daughter enjoys it and Bluetooth connection is not an issue for her, but I would like to know that it works at least.
I just purchased 42" Reflectors and a Stand for them. I have never used Reflectors before. Are there any good books out there dedicated to the use of Reflectors? I have yet to find one. Thanks.
I currently use the Photos application on my MacBook to edit my photos. I would like to do more editing but don't know which program to choose.
If I switch to a different program, can l still store and organize all my work in Photos on the Mac? I assume an editing program is just that - to edit - then you file them where you want?
Are there monthly fees associated with these editing programs or a one time purchase? Thank you! Looking forward to your advice and help!!
Has anyone been able to connect Snapbridge bluetooth with an IPhone? Nikon informed me that they are working to fix the problem with IOS systems, but I haven't heard if the problem has been corrected. I personally shoot with the 5300, but my daughter has the 3400.
Nikon F2. That camera was a tank, and I used it over 20 years having taken thousands of photos with it. Completely manual, heavy duty. I dropped it on more than one occasion, but that camera never failed me.
