I've always enjoyed watching great rock bands perform with full orchestras. Only the best bands can pull this off and it shows that their music is well written.

Pertains to Nikon Equipment
I know of NikonUSA, KEH, MPB, B&H, Adorama and Hunt's.
Any hoggers have some other favorite places to buy used Nikon equipment?
Please no suggestions that contain Abe's of Maine 😄😄

Thanks,

Don

Lately, I've purchased most of my Nikon lenses on eBay.

I use the D500 because it gives me greater reach for auto racing and has basically the same functionality with the D5 and D850. The D850 is used when I don't need the reach of the D500. To me they are a set that works well together.

Attic fodder indeed. I'm a Democrat, but this idea seemed to be only an attempt to pander to young voters.
So do folks here think that tax breaks for the wealthy makes good economic sense?

That is a question you need to ask the government who wrote the tax code. Did they have a good reason, and what is it? You shouldn't be expecting a wealthy person to not take advantage of the tax break. That is only common sense to take any break they can legally. My only criticism of the tax structure is why does it virtually exempt the bottom 50% of tax payers from any income tax? Are they not citizens of the country who should be supporting the cost of government? To have the privilege of living in the USA should have some value to every citizen.

I always thought that going to college and getting a degree was so you could get a higher paying job that would provide a better life style. I don't have any problem with getting a scholarship to help lower the cost, but it is still a personal decision that you take. If you take out a loan to buy something, it should always be an investment in the future that will pay you back in the long run. It is your commitment to pay it back, not someone else's problem.

The question, Paul is whether you rewarded yourself for the Hustle with a pazcki? Nice way to demonstrate the qualities of a Canon pocket camera. My first digital camera was a Canon Elph. It was what convinced me to go digital after many years of 35mm film.

Some year, I'd like to return to the Florida State Fair. The last time I went was when they blocked off a city street and held it down by the Hillsborough River. Nice set of pictures!

I grrew up in Tampa in the 50's and early 60's. Those prices look familiar. For entertainment on Sunday afternoons, my parents used to go to the latest housing developments and we would look at the model homes. They looked almost the same as these pictures. However, the prices had gone up to low $17K to about $22K for the best models. I was astounded when I found out what my parents paid for the older home we lived in. It was about a late 20's early 30's home in a middle class neighborhood. On a 50x105 ft lot, a two bedroom, one bath with front porch, car port, a one bedroom bungelette in back with a two car garage. They bought it in 1935 for $3,500. Thirty year mortgage monthly was $21.00. They rented the bungelette for $25.00 which covered the mortgage.

I'm surprised that this non Ai lens will not mount on the 40x. I have a D40 and all my non Ai lenses mount just fine but without any control, of course. I didn't think they changed anything on the mount when Nikon brought out the 40x. Wasn't it just a sensor change?

During the war years, he always made it a point to entertain the troops wherever they were stationed overseas. He always brought some "eye candy" on those tours. He had the talent to take our minds off the war if even for just a little while.
