In trumpland, the Mueller response absolved Trump of any and all wrongdoing!

Their statement did not debunk the Buzzfeed story, but did throw shade on it. It is odd that they felt the need to make any statement though.

I am content to wait for the actual report versus media reporting or speculation on its alleged contents.

It's the cabal fighting a rear guard action. They leaked the original story to Buzzfeed then they partially contradict it. It's all bunk, but it has people thinking it's true. It's called a disinformation campaign.

Oh, OK.

I just remembered you emphatically telling us the report was going to expose and bring down the cabal.

I had assumed it happened just as you said and I just didn't hear about it.

You mis-remember, or you choose to forget that I said that report was the first one of many, at least three.

It did get people fired at the FBI and DOJ. Several are now under investigation. I didn't realize how much the Mueller witch hunt would block the normal course of events. These guys are not stupid, they planned it well. The two things that screwed up their plans and caused them to go into cover up mode was Admiral when Admiral Mike Rodgers closed the illegal operations at the NSA and of course, Donald Trump winning the elections in spite of all the malfeasance at the FBI/DOJ/CIA and so on. That second event was the cause of the start of the "insurance policy," which was ultimately revealed to be Mueller.

DC is a fetid swamp and draining it is very draining.

But Trump is holding all the cards now but we have to see how he will play them; he is going to extract maximum leverage from them and this will also extend to other countries, especially the ones that participated in the spying operation against him. Remember what he said last week.

This morning's paper said these things happened in 2014 and 2015. Isn't that at least a year before the Presidential election. So its not the presidential election as you are trying to make it seem.

Didn't Hillary do the same thing in 2015 with Bernie? Good for the goose good for the gander!

No. Hillary only conspired and colluded with the DNC to get the questions for the upcoming debates and to make sure Bernie could not win the nomination regardless of the votes. That's nothing compared to flooding an online poll.

Didn't the OIG report expose and bring down the cabal...

LoL

No. The OIG report did show there was a lot of abuse and leaks in the FBI/DOJ during the Hillary email server investigation. They exposed Strzok and Page and many others and it got them fired along with several others. On the other hand, Mueller's mission was to protect the cabal and he's been very effective in bottling up the various investigations and the release of the findings. However, he's coming to an end also and once he hands in his report, if he even does one, the other investigations can continue and other findings will be released.

The list of people fired from the FBI and DOJ or that have left is rather long, but there are more to come. It's taken a lot longer than expected, but that's why Mueller was there in the first place; impede the exposure and protect the guilty and he's been very good at it.

We don't yet know all the people involved in the coup, but we do know that 0bama was very much involved.

I thought the SHOT Show was wholesale only...or am I dating myself.

It's not "wholesale" per se, but it is industry and not open to the general public. I can got there for two reasons; I am "working" in the booth of an exhibitor (staff) and I am also a "gunwriter," as I have had articles published in shooting magazines and books in the past, along with my own pictures.

There will be people from all over the world, lots of LE and government agencies and militaries as well as gun shops, outdoors companies, optics, and so on. It's a very big show, but again, not open to the general public.

Since this is a photography discussion group, I figured a picture would be worth a thousand words.

This is a picture of my setup. On the Q6 you can see an empty spreadsheet with 50 columns showing, default size. I intentionally pushed it to the right so that the ID of the user is not showing, but you also see the bottom right corner of the spreadsheet showing on the 2K monitor on the right, in its top left corner. I minimized all the windows for the sake of anonymity, but I think it gives you an idea of the way I use this setup. The laptop on the left is a 17 inch model and the monitor on the right is a 24 inch model, for comparison sake.

And yes, that's a shot of UHH website in the middle.

I hope this helps.

Gotcha - but then in essence you have the equivalent of 4 1080p displays and NOT a 4 K display

I'm REALLY not sure what you mean by that. My Samsung Q6 is connected to my laptop via HDMI and the resolution on it is 3840X2160. It is a 4K display.

A very good point that last one.

I believe ma Pelosi represents San Francisco, The Open Sewer By The Bay. I was watching the news last night playing interviews with San Francisco residents. They were talking about the stench pervading the city, how they had to be careful when walking to not step in human feces and talking about all the discarded hypodermic needles everywhere. A real sh*thole. Third world style.

Perhaps she needs to spend more time at home and less time on government funded junkets.

Also, she loves abusing Air Force plane travel. She has quite the history of such abuse the last time she was speaker. I don't think PDJT is going to put up with that.

And why was she going to Afghanistan in the first place? She's not commander-in-chief.

What is illegal about the FBI starting a counterintelligence investigation into trump as a traitor to the country that he was allegedly elected to run?

The FBI did not inform Congress they were doing this and the only ostensible reason they started down this road is because Trump Fired Comey, something that is well within his constitutional duties and prerogative. Why didn't the FBI start a CI investigation when 0bama said to the Russians he would be more flexible after the elections? Or when he sent planeloads of cash to the Iranians? It is not the FBI's job to investigate policy difference with the president. The FBI just can't investigate anyone without a crime or intelligence from proper sources (5 eyes.)

But let's consider the fact that the trump campaign paid to have poll results tilted in his favor during his candidacy.

Sure. Someone said that Trump paid some money to someone to flood an online poll in his favor. An online poll? Really? Not only is that done all the time, nobody believes those polls. Try to be serious.

Quote:

Let's consider all of the private meetings (some where interpreters notes were confiscated) that trump, his campaign staff, his kids, and members of his cabinet had with Russian Operatives between 2015 and 2018.

Ok. What about it? You might remember that the government was leaking like a sieve after Trump was elected. There were leaks about everything he was doing, including when he was taking a leak. I also remember when the entire transcripts of his phone conversations with other heads of state were leaked and published. It took a long time to plug all these leaks (may of them from the DOJ/FBI/CIA,) and it's only normal that you would not want to have your private conversations with heads of state splashed all over the news It's very rude towards these other heads of state and they would stop talking with us, knowing whatever they said would be leaked, analyzed and commented upon by nasty people and page 1 in the NYT, LAT and other vile places. I'm glad Trump controlled all that. I would expect the same from any president.

Quote:

Let's consider all of the US policies that trump has changed at the bidding of Russia and Putin the puppeteer.

Sure. Name one. On the other hand, Trump going after Germany because they are buying gas directly from Russia is certainly not at the bidding of Putin. Having a couple hundred Russian soldiers killed by our troops was not at the bidding of Russia. Allowing the growth of the US oil industry by reversing fiats and allowing pipelines and lifting all manners of moratoria is certainly not in the interest of Russia since they get a lot of revenue from their oil and the US under Trump is now the biggest oil and gas producer in the world and they price of oil is low, hurting Russia's oil revenues.

I got lots more. What have you got?

Quote:

Let's consider the deaths of 4 US Citizens yesterday at the hands of ISIS, because trump decided to pull out of Syria. This is one time that the blood is on trump's hands, and the hands of his Cabinet!

Why are we in Syria in the first place? Also, tell me why the decision to pull out of Syria is the cause of death of 4 US soldiers? I'm happy to talk about Benghazi where Hillary and 0bama let 4 US citizens get killed by a) sending them there in the first place b) not providing the security they requested multiple times c) not allowing US forces to intervene and rescue them during the 13 hour ordeal and then lying about what happened. We lost a US ambassador in Libya; this is not to believe any of the other victims, but the circumstances were definitely not the same.

Quote:

You are spinning out of control with your trumpsplaining propaganda!

How so?

Quote:

I can't wait to have the last laugh at your expense when the indictments are handed out!

Let's wait and see what happens. Barr should be confirmed shortly and Rosenstein will not want to stick around when he shows up at work. The FBI/DOJ has been cleaned out some, but it needs more cleaning. It remains to be seen if Barr is the person to do it.

The leaks are at fever pitch high right now. The coup has failed and the cover up of the cover up is in full swing through these leaks. There are now two competing camps leaking but even the stuff coming out of the cabal's mouthpiece (NYT) is pretty damning. I think they are just spreading it out so no one is shocked when it comes out officially.

And it's possible it may never come out officially; Trump has gained a huge amount of leverage from all this and he is holding all the cards. I did hear what he said last week about us being shocked when we find out who was involved. Remember, Trump doesn't bluff. And he's very vindictive, one of his nicer qualities.

By far the most interesting and entertaining but most grueling of the trade shows was the Super Computing show that alternated between east and west coast locations and occurred a week or two before Thanksgiving. I will probably go as an attendee next time it’s in a fun city, but no more booth duty for me 😸. Anyway, enjoy SHOT - I’m sure there will be interesting exhibits, old friends to catch up with, and your hands-on expertise will be appreciated. What company’s booth will you be in?

I did Comdex for many years and MANY other shows, notably HP World. The whole computer trade show scene came to a crashing halt in the early 2000, supplanted by the Internet/World Wide Web. I do a few shows still but they are very small and very focused.

As for where I will be at SHOT, I'd rather not say publicly; there are a lot of weird people here.
