Check out Painted Hills near Mitchell. Of course Crater Lake. The hundreds of waterfalls. Never ending beach scenes along the Pacific Coast. Prineville Res. State Park is a designated Dark Sky location. Cascade Lakes Hwy, Crooked Rive Hwy, Old Mackenzie Hwy. There is a Kodak Moment around every turn in Oregon

It does get that deep. Crater Lake never fails to impress.

These are from Diamond Lake. I figured Crater Lake would be super crowded for the Eclipse so I would shoot the Eclipse from Diamond Lake . As it turned out, it was cloudy.

I was camping near Crater Lake N.P. on Diamond Lake. (Crater Lake campground was closed for the year). I had arrived on Wednesday to beat the rush for the Solar Eclipse campsites. The Eclipse went from Oregon to Texas on Saturday 14. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the 14th. But, it was absolutely beautiful on Thursday so I went up to Crater Lake. Over night there had been about 6 inches of snow , rain and plenty of wind. The rain and snow had frozen horizontally on everything. Even when I was shooting these photos. The wind was blowing 20-30 mph. Enjoy..

thanks for sharing. I went to Near Crater Lake to shoot the eclipse. But it was cloudy. I might go to Texas in April 8 2024 to catch the full eclipse.

Nice shot. My first introduction to the northern lights when I was stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB near Marquette back in the 70s.

Fall was my favorite time to drive through Denali when I lived in Alaska. Polychrome Pass is spectacular this time of year.

Nice shots, It reminds me of when I use to live there in Wasilla. I use to fly out to Matanuska Glacier to go camping at the foot of the glacier. I see you also caught September's termination dust on Pioneer Peak. September was my favorite time to Photograph Alaska. Polychrome Pass in Denali NP was also at its prime then.
