Thank You, it was a fun little winter project. I took this in July, this summer. It is 7 pictures added together using the free panorama software from Sherif. The exposures are all 30 seconds,F4 ISO1600, if I remember correctly.
Aztec Spires
My Pentax K3 will allow you to take multiple exposures several different ways. I used it to build these pictures in camera. There is only one pencil shaving being used for these pictures. I set the camera for a max of 10 exposures and when I got what I liked, I stopped. Macro lens, handheld. The top picture has won 2 local awards.
Great shots, Pat, Love the last one.
How about a couple of Handrails?

Thanks for your replies. I thought I was posting them in the Photo Gallery. This is the first time I have done this. I will try to repost. Hopefully it will become an annual event, I have heard that 2 of the 3 balloons inflated downtown cut their envelopes on the buildings. Probably means we won't see them downtown like this again.
First ever balloon rally in Durango this time of year. Balloon glow in downtown Friday night. Launch from the north valley Saturday morning. I had to work outside on a house Saturday morning, the balloons were launched nearby. I took pictures as time and opportunity allowed.
I kind of like this one, maybe?

Thank You, I belong to a photo club here and there are several people in the club that specialize in train photography. They have set the bar very high around here.
I don't take many pictures of our train, having grown up with it. The D&SNGRR is probably one of the most photographed trains in the world. This is my 2 cents worth.

We haven't had any frost yet, it is coming too soon. Those were from last winter, I think.
Here are a few from my archive. You can see why it's called Red Mountain Pass. The other two were the results of some nasty weather.

Thank You, I'm still trying to figure out all this post processing.
