OK Rails are are for trains, however so are railroad Tracks, some old roads or trails are also called Tracks. Steam engines have rods, some cars are hot rods, a dragster might be called a "rail", curtains hang on rods.

Last June some good friends treated our whole family (all 14 of us) to a ride on the Royal Gorge Railway. It follows a portion of the Arkansas River west out of Canon City, Colorado and was quite a treat.
