Outstanding images! Hoping to get down there someday in hope of finding such photo ops!
I cannot imagine anyone with an ounce of intellect, doing such an irresponsible, stupid, irrational, idiotic, thing like this without having a good camera in his hand!
I recently bought one for my wife who loves to join me on my photography outings. She complains about the weight of D7100 with an 18-300 mm zoom that we use with my D750, 300mm with a 1.4x extender. The camera is light weight, shoots RAW and has an impressive zoom. So far the images have looked good. So I am now carrying both cameras. Thank heavens for my Cotton Carrier chest and hip carrying devices!
Thanks for your thoughts. I don't recall the cocked tail with the song sparrows I see around here.
First thought it was a finch, but the cocked tail suggests a wren. Beak and coloring suggests a sparrow. Need an experienced birdwatcher's help.
Thanks. Raddad
I've got just the shot for that T-shirt. Thanks for the idea!!
I was asked by ckkorb about the shutter speed used for the finch photos. Image 1=1/1250, Image 2=1/1600, Image 3 and 4 were at 1/1000. Camera was set on Aperture priority of f8 for all four shouts.
Thank you all for your comments. It seems we are all of the mind with regard to these guys. Cute as long as they are someone else's territory.
