Powerful Backstage Photos Capture The Raw Beauty Of Ballet

The photos are powerful and beautiful; however, I only counted 5, maybe 6, which were truly "backstage photos". LifeBuzz.com is a buzz-kill site in that it creates blatantly over-hyped titles for its articles.

Nevertheless, thank you for posting the link. The title was misleading, the photographs were excellent.

I'd hate for this to become a thing.

It wouldn't if people like you wouldn't post links to it!

The 10 Most Dangerous (And Stupidest) Photos Ever Taken
http://www.lifebuzz.com/dangerous-photos

Am I reading this wrong? Most of the pictures aren't anymore dangerous than walking across the street; and, a couple of them considerably less dangerous. I found none of them stupid. Well, perhaps that one of the guy in Norway balancing on his hands at the Trolltunga rock was dangerous and stupid. The rest stuck me as pictures that photographers would like to take pictures of.

Don't try, do!

Why are you quitting?

Nice looking blanket BTW. Someone will really enjoy it.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40

Small, has a 30x zoom Leica lens.

Manual Focus capability. Slick menu of many different exposures. Great macro.
LCD viewfinder in addition to LV. $225 on Amazon. Introduced a couple of years ago -- the newer models start at over twice the cost.

Images are very nice considering the size of this camera.

I've got this camera and it is schweet! I got mine for ~$150 refurbished.

Thought this would be of interest to those of us who have to have glasses for distance and closeup and the computer. It will be interesting to see how much they are going for when the first hit the market.

Yeah, but... not once did they use a correction that even comes near my corrective needs. -4.5 to -5.5. During my college days my ophthalmologist said it was a pity he could correct my eyesight with lenses; as he could have gotten me a scholarship and a seeing-eye dog.

I've been known to suggest that the only person at my funeral who won't be upset will be me. ;)

Sounds like after 5 years your battery has hit End Of Life.
You should be okay, it just won't charge anymore (read that with a caveat). New laptop? The newer ones are faster... How close might you be to the EOL for the laptop? Who knows. We have two Toshiba Satelittes and they are great ($400-$600). One is a few years old.

EOL of battery does not equal EOL of laptop. Given the age of the laptop in all likelihood a battery place, Batteries Plus in my neck of the woods, will likely have a brand new, reasonably priced replacement battery pack.

I don't have a laser or home defense gun. My tripod is a carbon fiber that absorbs most vibrations.

How did you test or observe this; or, how do you otherwise know this? Do you know of others who have performed vibration tests on your brand of tripod?

I can understand why you are upset, but this is a normal precaution since many scams of this kind exist that vendors and credit card companies have to deal with to avoid fraudulent orders placed by identity thieves. They are trying to protect you. You should try and work with them. There is probably a solution to be found.

If they can verify your details, and perhaps a way to associate you with the work address that may be one avenue to pursue.

If you have a work e-mail and location that they can contact you with, so that you can respond it may help bypass the security check...

Good luck with finding a solution.
I can understand why you are upset, but this is a ... (show quote)

Chill! I have had exactly this issue with both a VISA and American Express cards. The fix was very simple... directly make the other address, i.e. your work address, an acceptable ship-to address.

Getting pissed at Canon is pointless. They aren't trying to screw you. Indeed they are trying to protect you from cyber-thieves. In point of fact, I'd be willing to bet, if thieves bought something from Canon and and Canon shipped it out you'd be even more pissed at Canon for not validating the address. So, calm down and mentally thank Canon for caring about YOU!

Read "Wheat Belly" to learn how non-GMO hybridization has changed wheat for the worse.

Um, and it's the fault of the wheat? You sure it isn't the sugar, including high fructose corn syrup in most loaves?
