In terms of durability, you can buy 3-4 Yongnuos for the price of a Nikon. If I was a wedding photographer, I would go for the camera's manufacture's flash units as the main flash.
In jazz, it is my opinion that he was at his best when he was with Ray Brown the bass player. With Brown he could really swing. There is an interesting anecdote about him when he was 16(?) and conducting the LA Philharmonic for the first time. When tuning the orchestra they tried a prank on the kid. The first violinist tuner the orchestra slightly sharp. After they were turned up Previn said "I would everyone to transcribe one quarter sharp.) The kid (Previn) then got a lot of respect for his talent.
Problem gone for now. I was going to send a screenshot for UHH members to look at. I had some problems in doing the screenshot in Windows 10 that required several steps. After fixing that, I went back to LR to take a screenshot of my LR import problem. The Import and Cancel buttons were back in my LR Import screen.
I do not remember exactly what I did in working on the screen shot problem other than using descriptive colorful language directed at Microsoft.
Thank you for the suggestions. The import and cancel buttons are missing. I will see if I have imported them. I had to reset my computer last summer. (Avoid this if at all possible!) I probably have some additional issues in the future. Again, THANK YOU.
Whether amateur or pro, it is best to get the best you can afford. Even though your gear is not that heavy, you may eventually end up getting something heavier. Here are some things to consider:
Vibration is the key. The factors mentioned are correct. You do not have to go to Really Right Stuff for a tripod with the desired characteristics. Feisol 3472 shoud meet the criteria and it is about 1/2 the price of Really Right Stuff.
I watched it as well and am confused as to how it could possibly be a contender for an Oscar.
Different strokes for different folks. For me, the design elements in the photography were just outstanding. We all bring out own background and preferences into what we like.
Cool. You have a charcoal or pellet smoker? Brisket is killer smoked for 45 min to 127 deg F with Mesquite or Hickory coals. I use Hardcore Carnivore Black from https://jesspryles.com/ as a rub.
My packer briskets and flats take much longer time in the cooker (smoker.) I use the toothpick test to tell when they are done. The time varies, even on weights that are close to the same. I have a Cookshack smoker so my temperature times are very consistent.
I am familiar with this place via the works of another photographer. Awesome looking place, but I'd be scared of snakes!
They tell you not to to open the hoods or doors. I assume they also meant for you not to stick your arm underthings. I am not familiar with the number of snake causalities per year.
I too am reluctant to be around snakes. If you stay on the trail there should be no problem. I never saw a snake nor did anyone in our group of 12. I am going back because my son lives in Atlanta, about 40+ miles south of White City and Old Car City. Go!! You could easily spend a couple of days there.
