Never thought of them, thanks and too bad IMO. We didn't get to see any Wolves either.

"When you could find?" - An interesting remark. I've been to Yellowstone many times, the last two I saw very few Elk. Is there a reason for the lack of them these days? The last time I went straight through to the North Entrance where a lot of elk used to roam. I didn't see any of them on that trip. My favorite NP's are Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. Been to most of them.

I recently bought a Nikon for my wife. It is a CoolPic 7800. I am not confident to get any help from Nikon. When the camera arrived, the instruction manual was in Chinese. I wrote once and they did not respond in English. Guess we are handicapped. The translators are not that accurate.

My experience with printers has been with HP products. I can't say I am satisfied with them though all of them will begin to dry out from the moment you open the cartridge. It doesn't matter how large the capacity the cartridge is. My latest is an HP Photosmart. I would like to have the ability to print postcards on a 5X7 format but the printer no longer takes in the blank to print to. This is nothing new for HP either. So, recently I went to our local OfficeMax store and after speaking with a sales associate, walked out with an Epson printer. Considering cost of cartridges being right up there with the cost of the printer. I have to confess that I will be joyed when I delete all the HP Files in my desktop. It seems they have metastasized themselves and I rarely if ever use any of them. I get to watch HP play with itself on my computer rather than the other way around. The new Epson is a Christmas present so it hasn't been opened yet. I will await the opinions of others in this forum.

I just took your advice...BUT....It is going to my wife as one of her Christmas presents. Thanks again for the advice. Her Canon is annoying to use, without a sight.

Very nice and very good advice. I spent almost 40 years of my life in Washington (State) Oregon, California, Colorado and Arizona so No. 1 was very much appreciated. I have a Nikon Cool Pic that does not have an EVF so most outside shots are taken with a lot of luck which has failed me more than saved.

It's printer time. I have a difficult time with my HP when it comes to printing photographs. Printer won't take the small sized paper.

What is the group's advice to the least expensive ink replacements. I tried refilled with my HP and it won't take them. Tells me to go out and buy an HP cartridge.

I have learned that it doesn't matter how much the capacity of the cartridge is, once opened, the clock is ticking and it will dry out sooner rather than later.

Gentlemen, your thoughts are appreciated.

I have Windows 10, and essentially nothing has changed. Create a "Computer" shortcut icon on your desktop. Insert your SD card into its reader, and close any applications that pop up asking you to load your new files into it. Click on your "Computer" shortcut icon to display the entire list of drives on your PC, then click to select your SD card. Simply drag and drop your photo files anywhere you like, or open them directly into your application of choice.

Here! Here! I was waiting for a post from someone with a positive remark. We have two laptops and I have an old 32bit desktop from 2005. All of them are running 10 without problems. As Lupin put it, use your windows file manager. It does work. I have been using Lview Pro for a long time and it still works fine in my Windows 10 machines. May as well get used to it. It's here to stay.

I have an EOS Rebel and the disk that came with it. I had to go to Canon's website and download an up to date driver. Had no more problems. Good Luck

The link you offered at ZDNet does not go through. It says the page has been removed or the address is wrong.

I liked them all too! I lived in Fairless Hills for almost 4 years. I enjoyed seeing Buck's County again.

Heheh, brings to mind a little story. A friend of mine had a pool in his backyard. He was so proud of that pool, filled with Koy. In fact he used to take some of them and drop them off in a local lake where they also thrived. Along comes this Blue Heron who had quite the feast. Result was 1 fish left, out of many. Closing the door in the after sense, he purchased a net.

I see. I tried. Either it didn't work or I didn't. Back to the drawing board.....
