As a photographer, you should be prepared to sell "prints only" and you deserve a fair price for that; you should make a nice profit. Personally, although I do sell framed prints, I find I make more $$ by just selling the prints. Although I am capable of doing the framing myself, I find I make a MUCH larger profit on the image than the framing job, and I save an incredible amount time as well. Don't be afraid to charge $ 100, or more, for each print. Best of luck.
In the old days, @ 50 years ago, I almost always used a filter. No so today. Perhaps a CPL or ND if needed. Best of luck.
IMHO, your setup is crazy and asking for trouble. Not that you can't have a FEW storage devices plugged directly into your system, but you really need to look into a NAS system. If you want the best, look into Synology. YMMV. Best of luck.

My printing is done by WHCC. Never ran into this issue until I got the new iMac. I’ll call them.
I also use WHCC. They give you two choices, the first is where you manage the color and the second is where they do it for you. It costs slightly more for them to do the work. You could try an experiment by sending them a file and asking that they print it both ways and see the results. Best of luck.

Just checked on yearly updates for Topaz Gigapixel $79 and Photo AI $99. DeNoise and Sharpen no longer supported. I think I'll have to consider value received before renewing.
I suggest you consider Lightroom/Photoshop, which include both those functions and much more, for $ 120/year. Best of luck.

Believe it or not, this fire was under control. The last image was my own burn.
Either learn to post properly, or simply don't.
Nikon lenses are designed to work with Nikon bodies. Third party lenses may or may not work properly, especially on newer bodies. Best of luck.

While I choke to admit it, Mac is the best for most display and image work. It just stinks at everything else.
Agree with your first sentence, completely disagree with you last, but you are entitled to your opinion.
Personally, I'll take natural light, but sometimes it's just not available when you need it. Best of luck.
A quick call to Nikon will answer all your questions. Personally, I wouldn't spend much to fix old technology. Best of luck.
As a former NYC resident, 102nd & 5th, I always enjoy seeing your photos because you do good work, and because they bring back memories of when I lived there as well. Best of luck & Thanks.
Proper printing involves many things. Paper, icc profiles, calibrating the monitor and software. The first thing to check is that you are NOT double controlling the color, by having BOTH the software AND the printer making decisions at the same time, which is one of the most common mistakes and often not checked. The Red River paper site has tons of information on these issues and makes the paper I use exclusively in my Epson P800. Best of luck.
You really NEED to calibrate your monitors, both out-of-box and every couple of months. Check out the Red River paper site for much more information. I would STRONGLY suggest you at least try their papers - It's all I use. Best of luck.
My personal preference is B&W filters, which are all I use. Best of luck.
I've used both WHCC (White House Custom Color) as well as Blazing Editions (in RI) and have been happy with both. I see lots of folks who like Bay Photo. Best of luck.
