When taking portraits outdoors it is a good idea to use fill flash to eliminate the sun's shadows on the faces.

In the first photo, could you have taken it at a different angle to eliminate the power lines?
I love the symmetry of the feathers and the colors of the heads and necks. I am real glad there is no background clutter to detract from the subjects.

This was taken with a Canon SX 30is. I used the widest angle possible in macro mode and moved the lens toward the berries and squeezed the shutter button. I am glad you liked it.

Thank for sharing. I love the vivid colors and the custom framing on several. I was a littled troubled by the harsh sunlight on the old cowboy's chin.
