Learning from the Nikon manual is sort of like trying to learn a language by reading its dictionary.
We may have passed each other, things were very active Tuesday morning. We didn't see eagles, but did see wild pigs, and had to wait out a gator using the road in front of our car. You have some really nice photographs to be proud of.
I suspected the trade-in credit situation right away. I recently had a Dell laptop play dead on day three, had a replacement the next day at no additional cost to me. On another note regarding most stores liberal return policies, just look at the lines of people returning their new flat screen TV's the day after the Super Bowl. Greg.
Nice, I never looked close enough at these guys to see that the black bands on their legs are actually little hairs.
It almost sounds like you traded it in for the new camera, rather than return it for credit. Check back with them.
Most of my "Accidental Photos" are of my feet, or something similar. ;-)
You've shot (well, taken a picture of) a Yellow-throated Warbler, setophaga dominica. Audobon has a nice Android app, maybe Ios too. Greg.
Here are some handy key combinations for those of us that liked Windows the way it was. Using the Windows key like a shift key.
Windows+m=minimize all apps
Windows+e=open file explorer
Windows+r=run (a command)
Windows+f=find
Windows+u=utility manager (new one on me)
Windows+d=show desktop (seems the same as Windows+m)
Windows+l=lock computer
Windows+b=not sure

I have to give SusanFromVermont kudos for a great answer.
Our son calls them "Whole Paycheck".
I just bought the Manfroto 393 at B&H, looks like it will handle my Nikkor 200-500mm with any of my cameras. Wish I'd had it for the eclipse.
I am familiar with that lake, spotted it while roaming around on Google maps, now I'm resisting the trivia temptations. Oh, got it wrong too, next time I'll get it right.
I've been using iss.astroviewer.net
I can't believe how many pages of replies this has received, but here I go. I learned long ago in my business of providing computer software to Auto Dealerships, that when one of my customers sells his business to a new owner I make the new owner 're-license' my software, otherwise it has no value to them and it's much more likely the new owner will replace my software. If they didn't have to pay for something it has no value to them.
Personally I like my Tamron 16-300mm on my D7200 and D5600. It's my second one (D5100 w/16-300 was stolen from my car 8/14) I replaced it without any hesitation.
