No, but we did eat at The Rolling Tomato and had a wonderful meal there. The folks were very friendly and I would definitely go there again if the opportunity presents itself.
My husband and I were there about six years ago, but I ended up sick and so did not visit anything other than the aquarium. I was very impressed with Mystic Seaport and the USS Nautilus submarine museum.
Nicely done. I like that you worked the scene. Thanks for sharing.

Went up to Rocky Mountain National Park again this morning. I have been trying to get some photo's of Pika but did not see any this morning.
I had stopped at a lookout on the way down trail ridge road when this Clark's Nutcracker flew over to the stone wall and perched beside me. A little chipmunk had also came over and looked at my hand. I guess they are used to people feeding them.
Brent, I agree with Walt. Of the two, the color as you get more detail...note colored curtains in windows for example.

Today was interesting.......Memorial Day.......visited a National Cemetery and the Point Loma Lighthouse in San Diego. I really like the design of this image in B&W.......which do you like better? B&W or Color? Please download these.
I use the Promaster line of HGX filters which are specific to digital. They can get pretty pricy, but well worth the cost. Let us know what you decide on and if you are pleased with your result.

I started a thread awhile back asking about "Quality Circular Polarizing Filters" for my 24-105 and I seemed to have narrowed it down to four. I believe I need the thin ring for the wide lens, which narrows the choices somewhat.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or an educated opinion on these four filters.
I suppose if I could get close to the quality of these, in the $100 range, that would be even better. I suspect however, that I will be spending close to $200 or so. I'm not shooting pro or such, just a fairly picky enthusiast.
Are there any others I should take a look at?
Thanks, Bill

First, good luck with your surgery. It takes no time at all. I doubt you will want to be out with your camera for several days. It feels like you have an eyelash or sand in your eye.. There are frequent drops the first few days and you may end up with floaters. Mine ended up being rather annoying, but some people have little problem with them. Overall it is an easy surgery and you may be amazed at how white, white is! I thought I had a light tan wall when it was actually white. Sunglasses are a must. You will probably be given them before you leave the surgical center. I am sure you will do fine...just take it a day at a time. Oh, after a year I again needed glasses. Thank goodness for diopters on cameras.

I will be having cataract surgery on my right eye on June 11th and on my left eye on July 2nd. Can someone who has had the surgery done tell me how you took photos with one eye fixed and one eye not fixed? My right eye will be done first for distance vision correction. My left for close up in July. I currently wear no line bifocals.
Best wishes go out to your family. I pray he will pull this.
