The expressions you managed to capture on all of these pups are remarkable, but the last image is the one that gave me a chuckle. 😄

Now there's an interesting shot. The perspective and the texture lines in the road provide an optical illusion of motion leading my eye eventually to the bridge in the distance. Some of the effect is lost when I over-study the frame but my first glance was one of those "Aha" moments. Thanks for posting.

I wonder if folks who build their homes in areas likely to burn have to pay premium insurance rates as those who live in flood zones? Are those fire zones identified by insurance companies too?

These are the shots that really count for something. They used to be in the old family albums.

I sure like that shot of the black S&A engine coming thru the snow. Good job!

I'm 75 and just had the cataract surgery on both eyes done three months ago. The ophthalmologist described the options and I decided on "perfect distance vision". The results have been miraculous! After using a variety of contact lens prescriptions over the last thirty years or so including multi-focal, near-far and toric, all with varying degrees of success, the improvements I am now enjoying in detail, depth perception and color vision following the surgery are remarkable. I too was uncertain about seeing the settings on my camera but have found it to be manageable un-aided in bright light. I have a one-day soft contact near vision prescription for my left eye only that I use if I expect to be in conditions that would make "cheaters" hard to use. Most of the time I am glasses free and enjoying the heck out of it! Good luck. Hope yours will be as successful.

I agree with the comments - she's a beautiful young lady and it's a very good shot. But I was wondering about her white pupils. Is that acceptable like the head crop or should it be removed?

You might find the "Pictar" offered by B&H an interesting option. It gives the iPhone a little more versitility. I use one myself occasionly.

Used to be afraid of speaking in public. Affected my grade in high school when we had to give oral reports. About half way through my navy career I was sent to a one month instructor training class. It was rough the first week or so. Used to practice speaking at home by lining our daughters teddy bears up in the laundry room and practicing my reports. Helped me immensely. Any ol' port in a storm as they say.

Now that's creative! Thanks for the idea.

1953. I learned to drive in my folk's 1954 convertible. Straight eight - 0-60 in 60 seconds!

Thanks to all. I too am a Dale Carnegie graduate from many years ago, but we have never had a Toastmasters Club in our little town. I guess it's time to muster up the self confidence, practice and get the job done. What's the worst that can happen? 🤔

Have any of you taken public speaking courses or training? If so, what methods or programs did you find most effective?
