I have owned most of Nikon's 80-200 and 70-200 lenses for years. After switching to Sony for wildlife photography using the Sony 200-600 and 600 f4, I recently picked up the Sony Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II Lens, I took it to a local Parade to try it out. My first impression was how light it was, and how close it focused. Eye focus was dead on no mater how quickly I changed directions and distances. It was a pleasure to use. This will not be one of my wildlife choices, but for candid's, street, and parade photography, it will always be mounted on my a1.
I will also add that tracking was outstanding.
I may go back to Nikon once they have a decent stable of lenses but for now I am going with Sony.
A note to Canon users, Canon also has a decent stable of lenses and their new camera bodies are great.
The images below were captured with the Sony a1 and Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II Lens.
The ZEM ZEM guys were a blast, umbrellas came out all along the parade route, and what is it about children, boots and puddles.

Looking at the EXIF data for the teapot picture it shows "saturation -56". Just to satisfy my own curiosity, I downloaded the picture into PS and added +40 saturation. The colors seem to be more vibrant at this setting. Going all the way to +56 saturation was a bit of overkill.
