I have supplemented my battery cache with Watson batteries when traveling with the Nikon D810 & D850. They always worked as well as the dedicated Nikon batteries. I tried a Watson battery in my Nikon Zf and the camera recognized it as being incompatible. Not sure if it was peculiar to my setup or is across the board with the Zf.
