Beautiful meaningful image, and very sorry for your loss. I also lost my Tara in 2012 I was holding her when her life ended. I mourned so much that 5 days later I had a stroke. Be assured we will see them again........... for eternity.

I'm just kidding. I came across this fixer-upper in South Bend, Wa. on the Willapa River.

Please thank you son for for his commitment to serve. I think that every person after high school should have to serve in one of our military branches for a minimum of two years, to teach them discipline, team work, respect, etc. Hope that is mandatory some day.

The Amur (formerly Siberian) tiger is native to the forested areas of Siberia. However, due to habitat lose and hunting it now exists only in the Amur District of Russia along the Chinese border. The species name was changed in 1984. There are only about 500 in the wild. Russia has created a National Park in the region with the goal of increasing their numbers. The Amur tiger is the largest of all cats with the adult male weighing 800 lb.

The photos were taken this winter at the Detroit Zoo's one acre Tiger Forest Habitat. The two tigers seen are two-year old brothers that were born at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. Downloading is recommended.

I took this photo of my cat and cannot get rid of the strange fringe or is it moire on her whiskers on the camera right. I've tried using the moire and defringe sliders in LRCC but nothing removes the problem. Also, do you think her white bib is too gray or wrong temp. or tint? Thanks for tips on getting those darn whiskers to look normal!

She's a real beauty, give her a hug and kiss from me. I love cats.

My great great uncle was wounded there and at Mine Run, Va. Was also captured at Mine Run and spent 2-1/2 years in a Yankee prison camp.

You might contact local high schools or college campuses for photography classes and donate the equipment there, I gave my Nikon D70 to a local HS student. Even though it was only a 6.2 megapixel camera it was an excellent beginner unit.
