Good morning all
I'm considering buying a 6d to use mainly for sports. I'm I wrong for
thinking that i can overcome the autofocus deficiency course by use of proper technique. I also use a 1d mkiii and 7d which are are both great, just limited iso for poorly lighted gyms and stadiums. I started with a 350 xt and was able to function well for the most part for many years course 5d mkiii would make my life easier, but I really want to save some $$ for the tamron 24-70vc. I value your advice. Do I pull the trigger?
Thank you for all your comments in advance

Love your post
100% correct on all points
I actually see many just buy a camera and do it themselves
Then I actually enjoy looking at their catastrophe

The 70-200 f4 is an excellent lens.
However if you ever shoot basketball indoors or football Friday night, you're going to wish you bought the 2.8 is version. It can be had used for around 1g. Either way you're gonna be happy.

1 more thing
Nikon lcd's always show better.
After pp your photos will pop just as much as needed. I shoot canon and I've noticed same as you when comparing with my nikonian friends. Both brands are extremely capable of great images.

I'd just get the tokina 11-16 2.8, works great on my 7d. It's made for a crop body. Going for around 500 and change new and it's a wonderful lens
