I tried searching the site and found nothing. Does anyone have any experience with this store? I'm looking at a used lens on their site and would like to know if they are reputable. Thank you.

Nikon has gone to a separate operating chip just for focusing. Nikon has put it on the D5, D500, and the D850. It is extremely fast and extremely accurate.
If this is the sole reason for the switch, he may have jumped the gun. I worked for Canon USA for 23 years way back when. It seemed to me sometimes they would innovate and sometimes they would counterpunch, usually with something better. Incorporating a separate chip for specific camera functions does not seem to be monumental technical roadblock. Canon has lots of experience in semiconductor technology. Maybe they might have something better up their sleeve.
If you are talking about the grayish object in the background where the field meets the tree line I would ask a question. Was this photo taken below the Mason-Dixon line? If so I'd say it looks like a disciple of David Dukes.

It is a dark eyed junco!!!
Thank you Davy. A first for me.
Nice Donald. They always look like they're looking for that one perfect seed! Just like me at a buffet!
Really nice Donald! What PP software are you using?
Thanks for the giggles Graham! I especially like the crucifix!LOL!
Thank you Angela. Appreciate the good wishes! Enjoy!
ps: When I see more birds I'll give you a referral!
Certainly the contrast draws you in. The balance between the glint of light off the snow in the lower left and upper right corners give the image a very pleasing 3-dimensional quality. It's a great image IMO for whatever it's worth. Beautiful.

Ralph, glad to hear you're feeding the birds.... great shots and the first is a junco snow bird!!
This is strange, since the snow melted, I haven't had any birds at my feeders in about a week.... they must be all at your house!!
Hi Angela! Beginner's luck?
I was getting antsy after 2 days!
They seem to come for a spell in the morning and then again in the late afternoon. Seems like they avoid the middle of the day. Avoiding hawks maybe?
I've been pleasantly surprised by the variety. I thought all I'd see were some sparrows and maybe a few jays. Saw a few jays but the seem to be too big for this feeder as it swings around a lot. Plenty of cardinals both male and female. Really surprised by the woodpecker.
Thanks for looking. Appreciate the kind words. I'll be retiring in two weeks. It may be time to break out the D200!
Don't know anything about that camera but your wife's a keeper! Happy shooting with your new kit!
It's weird. I look through the photo gallery and always wonder where all these beautiful birds come from. Two weeks with a feeder and I've already seen 3 species I've never seen before. Build it and they will come!
