Nice clean image - Big ole truck hauling hay, looks like a Newfoundland dog being taken for a walk - what's not to like?
Stay well and keep on posting!

Thanks for the comment, the dog is our Tommy, he's a cross between Portuguese water dog and mother was German Shepherd, he often gets mistaken for an Irish Wolfhound.

Would use block and tackle set to lift. Very nice image. Tells a story and keeps its secrets. Sky color is wonderful.

thank you. I think there was a tractor with a lifting attachment on the front to load the bales onto the truck.

I really like this shot, good country scene. The only think I'd do if it was my own is to straighten the imaginary horizon line. (lift the left side, and drop the right side, if you know what I mean)

Good eye!

thanks for the comment, it was actually on a bit of a slope. The wagon departing turned left at the junction down a very slight incline - or decline....

Interesting picture. I've never seen 6 wire bales before. Can't imagine what they must weigh!

thanks, yes they look very heavy, they used some sort of lifter to load the wagon you see departing. I'm told it was on its way to a power station to burn and produce electricity.

Some of you may remember me. I used to post a lot of images and been pretty inactive for awhile. Currently, I have no camera or lenses and decided to start from scratch. So, I'm going back to my old workhorse from years ago. Enter Canon 7D. It may not be the best choice in the world, but I know this camera can do the job.

I found one on Ebay that comes with a Sigma 18-250 DC HSM lens for $350! I couldn't pass it up. The camera looks solid and there seem to be no issues. So, I hoping to post some new images soon with this set up.
Some of you may remember me. I used to post a lot... (show quote)

I have a 7D and am still very happy with it, I also sometimes use my 30D which is very old but still produces good pictures. I am sure you will have excellent results with that setup.

I like it. Maybe would have preferred it to be just a little lighter.

Thanks David for your comment. It was a very dull day and I usually try to make it look as it was shot.
It was quite a moody scene.
Cheers

I use On1 almost exclusively and I really like it. It does hog my computer's resources but I find it to be the best out there especially for the price.

Thanks for the feedback kpmac, I have just purchased it and of course still on the learning curve. One thing you may find of interest, I wrote to the helpline mentioning the laptop was very sluggish using it. They wrote back with a link bypassing windows update to replace the video card drivers from Intel direct and that made a huge difference. After updating you reinstall ON1 as administrator and I am very pleased with the improvement
