I thought I would re work this picture again as I have just started using ON1 software.
I would be interested to know if there are any more users and their impressions of the software

Great scene. But you might have posted in addition your original version and state what software you used for it.

Thanks for your reply, I Forgot about posting the old one, it may still be on UHH but several years back. For the original I used Lightroom 4.

Thanks Bob, well I am only just finding out about it and seems quite promising, although at first my laptop was very sluggish using ON1, their helpline provided a special link to update the video drivers and that really made a difference in performance. I think you do need a quite powerful computer for best results but I am in no hurry, no deadlines to meet (thank goodness)

I use On1 almost exclusively and I really like it. It does hog my computer's resources but I find it to be the best out there especially for the price.

Thanks for the reply Bob, I agree about the resources being used but my Lightroom 4 worked very well, and still does!
The picture was taken in the UK where I live in a small village on the border of Yorkshire and Lancashire called Heptonstall, very high up but it is quite hilly in the area.

Is that a Black Russian Terrier? I had one and it was the smartest dog ever. But, had a wet mouth so you did not want to be near her if you had nice clothes on!

No way, the "person" is my wife and the dog is our family pet! Besides it gives the picture more depth and a slight splash of colour - color in your language.

Hello Sonybug, thanks for the reply. No, the dog is a crossbreed, father is Portuguese Water dog and mother German Shepherd. This was taken about 5 years ago, Tommy will be 8 years old at Christmas time. Lovely boy but a very loud bark when he takes on guard dog duties...He is very smart too!

Thanks Doddy, the village is quite high up in the Pennines above Hebden Bridge in the valley
