Looks to me that you have a strong been cooler cast, from the roof of the tent; If you have photoshop, go into curves, and adjust the colour balance, then contrast, and see how that works.
For animals and birds, I use just one focussing point, mainly for the eyes.
Try Domke F2- made for the job !
I found this to very frustrating, to say the least, and it took a long time to find the answer! When you upload either a CF card, or an sd card, the computer will upload straight into photos; if you double click on the image capture button, you will see a tiny command at the top left of the pane "download to desktop". and there you go ! have fun, but I think that photos is a total waste of time, and nowhere s good as the old system.
Your second photo is excellent !
Arca swiss is the original; Arca usually denotes copy, widely used.
Well, I had an Apple mini; I wouldn't go that route again though; I recently bought a three year old Apple iMac 21" 4k retina; brilliant, you won't regret it !
Believe me, I gave this a lot of thought; I bought the 105 F1.4 Sigma Art lens. Ok, it is heavy, but not that heavy- I recently used this lens for a project on the river Thames; When I looked at the results, I was blown away by the sharpness and quality of the prints. Knocked spots of everything else !
ind her up. and see what it says on start up; you will probably need to clean the heads, at the very least. But unless you switch icon, you won't find out !
You will have the reach OK, but it is a little slow- hopeless for birds on the wing, but otherwise OK.
There is a multitude of photo opportunities in Barcelona; The Gaudi emporium, is fantastic, but always crowded; be careful if you go down the Ramblas. it is always crowded, and the thieves are looking out for ANY chance to pinch any tourist cameras, believe me. But there are beautiful places everywhere in Spain to photograph- too many to mention really. Have fun !
I have the sigma 24-35 F2 Art lens; I searched for one for many moons! Believe it or not, a mint copy arrived in my local store, and I snapped it up on the second day; all I can say, is that lens is very well worth it- the colours it produces are superb, and it is razor sharp. Go for it, you won't be disappointed !
Speak to Ed Hamrick, Vuescan software; if anyone can help, he will !
I have used Araldite in the past, it will stick anything; it is a two part glue, which goes off in 5 minutes. It is not a super glue, but a very strong glue used, I think in the aero industry.
Take your Fuji; in particular, get yourself an 18mm F2 XF lens for the XT2; that lens is a real sleeper- I was in the camera store, where I have been visiting for over 30 years; the boss knows me well; he said "do yourself a favour, use this lens on your Fuji; and showed me the 18mm. That lens is probably the best landscape lens going !
