I'm still shooting film along with digital. They both are good at certain jobs but they are both a little short when it comes to being the only camera I need. I cant shoot wildlife at any great distance with my 4x5 but it is definitly better for landscape. I'm pretty much done buying new cameras now that I have theA6000 and canon converter. I like them all TLR's DSLR's Mirrorless med and large format and even some toy cameras. I find it rather stupid for someone to tell other shooters they have to give up their cameras because something else is the way to go. I could care less if Canon makes a 50mp camera. I don't have the computer power to properly work on something that large. I do have an enlarger and 4x5 is pretty good when you get it right. I personally think this DSLR going extinct thing is just horse hockey. I definitely know I'll be dead and gone before it happens so I don't much give a shit whether it eventually happens

I would advise using Utube and watching a few videos on how to use it how to customize. I was a little miffed that win10 didn't give any tutorial until it was already done.I've managed to get it running pretty good but it took watching a few "how to" videos to get it there.

I've used an old 35mm film canister. The clear plastic ones then cut a slot in it slide over the flash head and put the cap back on. It takes the harshness out of the flash and it doesn't cost me anything at all. I keep a few colored strips to put inside to stain the flash when I want. Seems to work for me. Yellow and orange seem to work the best.

It doesn't seem to be that infamous anymore. I hardly heard a word about it on TV. Trump mentioned it. Don't see many flags except mine. I feel it's losing it's meaning anymore.I really feel sad about this;it was a time when this country pulled together to accomplish a task. We just don't do that anylonger. We talk about doing things and thats about all that happens. We say "Thank You for you're service" to veterans and then walk away.We all need reminders of what the cost of our Freedom really is.Sadly our new immigrants want to come here and rearrange our country to be like theirs.I hope this attitude is just temporary and just needs a little push in the right direction. (End of rant)

This falls into a group of subjects I class as "I'll take your word on it". Insect metamorphosis, faith in the existance of God, speed of light, the miricle of birth, the satisfaction of a job well done, all are quite explainable;I choose to just take your word for it. My brain has allot of other things to handle and doesn't need to know the actual step by step cause and effect that produces these miricles.I'm satisfied just being able to know they exist, and I can put them to use when needed. thanks for the link

Off camera flash is something that needs practice. If your not using it regularly you'll be better off with one that has TTL. The nice thing about TTL is it will generally get you pretty close the first try. You can then adjust from there in a short amount of time. I think we have all purchased the cheap flash just to find out in no time at all we want something with bells and whistles. The difference in cost is really minimal. If your going to use the flash for more than family pics on holidays then save your money and get a flash with TTL and slave and possibly HSS for your brand of camera. I've had real good luck with Yongnuo, and their triggers. I use vivitar for my older film cameras. My first real cheap flash is still in the box it came in 10 yrs ago. Probably still works but I never even pick it up anymore. Get the better flash--first

It's already to late. We allowed the mass migration and now we're going to pay for that mistake. They move in then populate to take over the area. They demand everyone change to accomodate their way of life and kill to accomplish their goals. At current population growth they will take over the world in a very short time;and it's already to late. Better start brushing up on your language skills.

Sometimes these idiots that mutilate themselves can be quite responsive when they notice you "looking". After looking at the tattoos and rings and chains and ear loops on a girl at a checkout counter she aked if I liked them, I replied,"not really in fact I'm finding it hard not to puke on you but I'll try to hold it till I get outside". The lady behind me started laughing so hard she had every one in the area joining in.The young girl gave me the finger and a few choice words and left in hough. The cashregister lady just smiled and then when I left she said,"Mr,You just made my day" So apparently they don't like stareing

I fear you have been bitten, and there is no known cure. You will feel ok for a while but then you'll notice this undeniable desire to be in the dark for long peroids of time. You will also find yourself saying"I think I can do better than that"--allot. Playing with a digital camera will cause sympoms to subside but only for a short time. My only positive effect from this was my wife refused to talk to me when I was in the dark and suffering from symptoms. Good luck and try to make the best of it. Just remember your not alone in this. Oh ---please do warn others if they ask to help you with your disease because it is highly contagious.

Just a side note. You might want to be sure her parents know that they have one terrific child. She probably didn't tell them she cut your lawn. Somehow they should know they did raise a decent human being. Make 4 people happy with one fell swope. My neighbors son has done things such as this and the parents didn't know till I informed on him. The glow on their faces is as they say"Priceless"

I just use the neighbors kids when I feel the need for grandkids. It doesn't last very long and I send them back home when I get tired of them. Works out pretty good. Mutually benificial to both sides, they get fed or fussed over,I get the grandkid thing out of my system the parents get some "no kids" time, everybody benifits. Note: Just be sure to wait until the "poopy pants" era is past before starting this.
The only downside I've found is the toys I have to pick up before mowing the grass, but this is a small price to pay for the convienience of temporary grandkids. This works so well that we have stopped proding our children to reproduce. So even they profit from this arrangement to some degree.Sadly they are talking about moving, now I'll have to look for a new bunch of "temps"
