Welcome to AZ and the Hog!
Never had any issues but it was worth some minor research first. Carry on is a must. Make sure your carry on complies with the airline requirements for carry on which are posted on their website. It is normal if they want to look at particular item(s) at the xray so be prepared to display items as requested.
All of the credit to you sir for a stupendous job. Well done!
I think sir, you paint us with too broad a brush. We are both nations of individuals and perhaps better served by being critiqued as such. I do appreciate your thoughts. It is an interesting read.
Happy to have you. Welcome.
Glad you have joined the forum.
A great story that carries hope, inspiration, and gratitude with it. Thank you for sharing.
God bless the Levins and our service men and women.
Had a similar experience this year for the first time (that I was aware of). Package sat in a UPS facility about 15 miles from our house for a week and a half "scheduled for delivery" then was shipped to Secaucus NJ where it apparently remained until I complained to the vendor and PayPal. It was delivered 3 days later by a neighbor about 15 minutes after they received it from UPS in error damaged and opened. Thankfully the contents were okay for gift wrapping - kind of. lol
Love the sticker idea - that would be fun.
Between the two, I believe the 50 will be the most useful for the purpose you describe.
Great story. Blessings upon your house.
I am feeling as old as my equipment. I own 3 out of the 10. lol
The only time I use manual focus for sports is when I can pre-focus on a spot or area, otherwise it is all AF for me. MF (for me) is common for doing macro work.
I have tried using both AF and MF, but prefer AF in most cases. It's not forgotten as much as needed less and less as camera and lens technology evolves.
Regarding panning, I like to use AF in conjunction with BBF. Certainly easier and more consistent for faster moving objects like auto racing as one example IMO.
On the other hand I have a few older and newer MF only lenses that I use less frequently, but I like using a couple of them for indoor portraits on a tripod.
Certainly nothing wrong or forgotten with either method, just whatever you do best and what produces the images you are looking for.
I have had mine since December of 2014 thanks to a superb B&H deal at the time. Great travel camera. Menu is just different not any better or worse than any other IMO. I used it for travel and family shots with the 16-50 kit lens, but also for shooting MMA and theater indoors with the 50mm f/1.8. Have adapters for Canon EF lenses, but agree, that AF confirmation is slower than I prefer sometimes. Most liked but also most challenging (for me) is using my adapted Rokinon 85/1.4 with the 6K. Have gotten as many as 800 shots on one batter with 20-25% remaining, but still fewer the with a DSLR. Perfectly acceptable in my view.
Listened to many on the old console growing up in NY and NJ. I think it was a Dumont.
Inner Sanctum, Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, Amos and Andy, Spike Jones show, etc. When I got tired of the radio would put on a few 78's and listen to the story of Peter and the Wolf or a little Tchaikovsky or my favorite - Glenn Miller band. lol
